Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Ethan, they are ALL susceptible to "SJW interference." Even the payment processers like Stripe, which handles a lot of payments over the Internet. Even Visa, MC, and Discover. Even the banks. The entire backbone of our financial system is now susceptible to SJW interference.

Welcome to the new normal. You just have to take your chances. Don't "purity spiral" to the point where you one day end up swearing off fiat currency in some grand but fruitless gesture.

I don't mind you doing this in solidarity with Zack and Malin, but the BLM thing is silly.

I see your point. Aside from Kickstarter and mainstream comics, though, I can't see where else I've drawn a line.

I've rebuilt my Patreon, which has already proven itself to be an explosive landmine as they publicly canceled Sargon of Akkad. But I already had the account, and I just figured it was high risk but low consequence. It's not a lot of money, but a fun way to interact with my biggest supporters.

When it comes to Kickstarter, there are too many factors at play.

1. The JAWBREAKERS rejection
2. LONESTAR rejection
3. Known to be gatekept by SJWs
4. BLACK LIVES MATTER banner across the top of every campaign
5. Takes 6-7% as fee instead of IndieGoGo's 5%
6. Director competitor of IndieGoGo, which has worked with ComicsGate quite professionally
7. Could create confusion with my customers about which platform to use
8. No proof there are two separate customer bases
9. Have already taught my customers that IndieGoGo is where to find me

I'm not saying I'll NEVER use KickStarter, but I don't see a good reason why I should, at least for the time being.

I remember Edwin Boyette saying that IGG is just as left leaning as KickStarter and scoffing at what he said. I’ve seen him proven right back in 2020 so yeah, I agree with most everyone here that this Kickstarter boycott is pretty pointless since they’ve toned down their rhetoric now that Camilla Zhang (whatever her last name is) is out of the picture. I’m pretty sure that if Zack or Malin were to launch a campaign on KS now, they would have no problems since SMiller‘s Trump book funded on KS with no problems after he got shadowbanned on IGG during the height of the Antifa/BLM riots last year.

I have also seen that IGG shadowbanned JDA’s Dynamite book as well, and he had to go over to Kickstarter.

And honestly, at the level we're talking about the consequences aren't even all negative if something bad happens. Say Indiegogo decides to refund a $1mn campaign for some SJW type reason... That's the kind of situation where if Fox News is is light on bookings on that day then they might bring you in and give you free PR. If anything it's Indiegogo who actually takes the hit, and that's why they'd probably think twice about playing fast and loose with the rules.

Edwin Boyette is a retard. He single handedly with one tweet caused a SJW apoplectic fit that drug down several people.

It doesn't matter that indiegogo has the same political beliefs as KS they provided a way for ya Boi to capitalize on his fame and make a shit ton selling comics in a rare win for right wing personalities.
To many ya Boi is a hero. He redpilled a bunch of comics fans from the front seat of a cheap car.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Waid was the nominal de facto victor. Whether you like it or not.

Waid stays employed in mainstream comics. There was no adverse factual finding concerning Waid's fuckery.

Zach walked away with nothing, and legally can't shit on Waid anymore. Shitting on SJWs is a pretty big secondary income source for CG members (secondary to CG comics).

Based on how this played out, Zach shouldn't have even bothered.

Now he's doing crap like 499 and talking about "bisexual lighting." I wonder whether this broke him.
He legitimately has fans. Paypigs that will always pay. It changes people. Look at the hundreds of threads here or watch as someone you know comes up. I don't think he's broken, he's looking to make guaranteed money and Ethan provided that.

Do you think ybz got tired of trannies like Mags or Michelle Perez and all the gamer talk associated with dealing with troons? Imagine having a bunch of whacked out ((women)) always saying their gonna come beat you up. I'm not saying troons won but they wore him down an awful lot.

BREAKING: The new Allegiance Arts project, The Saints, is live on IGG as of this morning. This is Mitch Breitweiser's bold attempt at a new crowdfunding campaign after the famously disastrous handling of Red Rooster.

Looking at the campaign page, the project has received $4,510 from 73 backers in just about 8 hours since launch. Honestly, that's more than I'd expect. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we're seeing all of the ardent Breitweiser/Allegiance defenders back very early and perhaps a massive drop-off later on. But you never know. Maybe people will find forgiveness in their hearts and think that surely Mitch couldn't possibly butcher a campaign as badly as he did before and deliver his book two years late.
Saints1.png

Worth noting: there's a tier that includes both The Saints as well as the finally completed Red Rooster graphic novel. Don't forget that you can get the full story of Red Rooster for $15 or less at Walmart, though.
Saints2.png

Also worth noting(?): there is a tier that includes... a 12-pack of energy drinks? Maybe someone more business-savvy can clue me in to the logic behind this suspected grift attempt. I guess they're including Joe Rogan product placement inside the book?
Saints3.png

Hmm... any Rogan listeners/illuminati experts out there?
Saints Rogan.png

EDIT: I'm a dummy and refreshed the campaign before posting, edited the funds and backer count in the text, but forgot my screenshot was from ~10 minutes earlier and shows different numbers. My apologies.

not gonna lie, the cover art looks absolutely badass and gives off Metal Gear vibes but, once I look at the inside art I’m like ”Bro, what the fuck?” The art looks scratchy and unappealing. The colors look kind of washed out. I’d be surprised if this campaign hits 30k.

Locals is a better platform for a paid fan club than patreon. Dave Rubin runs it and isn't cucked, and I think their cut of the pie is more reasonable than patreon. The worst part of it is the terrible "generic, sounds like a dating site" name. Geeks and Gamers have recently launched on locals.

There have been a few campaigns I can think of that have done both a igg and ks, notably the most recent Earthworm Jim. Doug ran into an issue that you can't just clone a campaign from one platform to the other (hence the b&w book on igg). He made similar numbers on both platforms, but there was likely some crossover between campaigns. The point about friction of having to sign up to another site is true. It's just a matter of how much moola is being left on the table, and how much added work doing two (largely parallel) campaigns would be.

Plus, there are a lot of people who still don’t know IGG even exists.

My feeling is that it depends if you can lead an existing following to the payment processor of your choice or not. Frog clearly has the ability to do so and he lists many good reasons for going with IndieGogo, like higher margins, less likelihood of being cancelled than Kickstarter, the ability to run multiple campaigns, greater favor with his fanbase, etc. I'm not so convinced that these benefits outweigh the costs of giving up access to a much larger customer base in Kickstarter for the smaller creators who don't have a following on a large third-party platform.

The "boycotting SJWs" argument doesn't make a lot of sense to me considering the vast scope it could be applied to, invariably to people the person making the argument doesn't like. Following the same logic shouldn't Comicsgaters self-ban themselves from BLM-supporting Twatter, Facebook, Indiegogo and all other online platforms left of center (read: all) to market their wares? And why restrict themselves to online boycotts? Why not apply this standard to creators who fulfill using SJW parcel delivery services like say FedEx or UPS? Why should CG backers give their important backer money to SJW-sourced paper?

Comicsgate very early on turned to a boycott after criticism from the earliest joiners like Ernst and Cummings was vilified. The boycott in turn was ignored as those in charge showed no signs of changing. At this point a conscious decision was made to try and outcompete them while upholding the complaints that they laid as the reason for the decline of western comics, demonstrating the truth of their assertions. Now when trying to outcompete the establishment, people are asking why aren't just comics being boycotted, but why aren't the creators boycotting all left-of-center service providers? The answer is is that it's not very competitive.

I recall a video in which Zack was talking about how his veteran father suggested he join the military not out of a sense of patriotism or even following in his father's footsteps, but because young Zack had a lot of aggression that really needed to be channeled before it became bad.
In his autobiography, Meyer said he got arrested three times for the same fight that occurred outside of where he worked (a Dell Computers store, apparently). The charges were reduced to Disorderly Conduct at the trial, 7 months later. He was fired from Dell Computers during that time but was rehired due to being short-staffed. However, they hired him at the entry-level job instead of being in the position where he was. The experience (along with inspiration from the Black Hawk Down novel) convinced him to join the military.
He tried joining the army, but he was turned down the minute they found out about his arrest. The Marines apparently didn't care as long as he didn't kill anyone.

I picture everything as Marvel Legends right now, scaled and articulated to compete with those toys. They seem to be the most popular.

But there's a vocal group of customers that seems to want 3 and 3/4 classic GI JOE, with the holes in the feet so that JAWBREAKERS can use the old vehicles and playsets. That's cool too.

The good thing is that once we get a workable digital sculpt of a character, we can reuse them for statues, busts and action figures at any scale. I'll start with the 6 inch Marvel Legends, and then later on, since they'll undoubtedly be far less expensive to produce, make GI Joe scale versions too.
Not gonna lie, that sounds pretty cool.

Apparently the Army stopped caring after a while since they let him in after his hitch in the Marine Corps ended.

I'm honestly amazed he wrote a fucking autobiography before he did any of the things he'd actually be remembered for, like getting mad at comic books in his Kia Spectra.

Back to some Fagdom Menace spergery, as Overlord DVD and future ruler of the Earth Doomcock throws shade at Jessie Milestone
(timestamped)
Gary and AZ take the piss out of him all the time. They even went so far as to create an intro to a skit about KKs employment status. Seems odd that he would care about what she would say.

On a related note, I was looking on playboard.co and noticed worldclassbullshitters had deleted 154k views worth of videos on the 21st. Is there any way to tell which videos were deleted after the fact? Skimming thru the videos seems to show that many of the tom high councils still are present so it's not a blanket tom purge.

Back to some Fagdom Menace spergery,
Yes, let's. And thank you for opening with a Doomcock video; his special brand of fact-free information is the perfect thing to frame the rest of this post. Lately I've been commenting on the six-digit figures the people on the top of the Fandom Menace circuit can make for low-info, low-effort, low-entertainment programming; it's becoming harder not to notice. Mandy Summers noticed and now has a spot on Midnight's Edge Toxic Femininity program. I noticed. And evidently even less scrupulous people noticed.

While only cryptically alluded to by the youtubers themselves, it was quickly pieced together from Yellowflash's timeline that growing Geeks and Gamers Girl and Fandom Menace e-girl vtuber sensation GeekyPixie9 was in fact the return of notorious Weeb Wars catfiisher and GFM grifter Jared Palmer who romanced the Fandom Menacers with his use of vtube as well as the use of faceswapping apps on underdeveloped looking teen girls.

A concise history of Jared/GeekyPixie's history in Weeb Wars and his, uh sexual escapades in the ISWV community can be found here by CGDG host DA Talks.

Much like an island where the native fauna show themselves to have no natural defenses against an invasive species like a rat or a fox, the people of the Fandom Menace, who could be generously described as "extremely credulous paypig retard", showed themselves to be helpless against this wily weeb inflaming their already well-conditioned simp instincts with pictures of teenage asian girls with broad shoulders and receding hairlines. He didn't even have to change his screenname.

While I'm sure many people would like to say only a few in the community were fooled by an obvous trap, "GeekyPixie" proved to be explosively popular among the Fandom Menace people, gathering hundreds of likes for tweets proclaiming that they are not a hate group and being invited as the guest of honor for at least a dozen "small streams" and climbing up to 860 subscribers (dropping rapidly as I write this) and running his own youtube show with regular attendant simps Phil TMNT and Orange Hat Media.

There appears to have been some sort of strategy to Jared's game here; GeekyPixie's now-erased twitter history popping up in support of simp-rich corners of the Fandom Menace like Geeks and Gamers, the "Babedom Menace" and Toxic Feminity as well as showing up in the timelines of individuals like Merry Mayhem, Mandy Summers all the way down to CGTFMWCBBW Rosetta Allen. It appears to have been gaining dividends; GeekyPixie had started filling in for Nerdrotic "girl guest" and G+G member the generically named "XRay Girl" on small streams. It was only a matter of time before Jared's channel received monetization and there's no evidence to suggest that he wouldn't have continued to build on growing success and popularity had his past not caught up with him

And when it caught up with him and the above pre-DFE confessional was tweeted, the leaders of the community were compelled to respond to this new threat to their racket:

Jeremy Griggs starts by reiterating that he likes to avoid drama before delving into the drama for two minutes, but first he would like say that he fully supports all genders and sexualities and remind us all that he is a big pussy with no balls ever since two Reylos scared him into abandoning the Fandom Menace. There is a threat out there in the well-oiled superchat extraction machine known as Geeks and Gamers and in time the name and details will come out (thanks to me); Jeremy would like the community to be careful of catfishing grifters out there, totally different from the regular, accepted form of Fandom Menace grifter like Jeremy.

1622027561253.png

Ryan Kinel of RK Outpost by contrast responded to his former customer Geeky more directly by straight up linking his dox post by @Junk Dog and placing the blame on anyone dumb enough to fall for stupid shit like GeekyPixie's shitty faceswaps. Which I must say is a very glassy house for someone who deals in Star Wars conspiracy theories to throw stones in.

Reactions downstream were mixed. One of the remaining Fandom Menace people/art community lolcow Anna/That Star Wars Girl puts on that she was never fooled along with a not so subtle reminder that the reader knows where to go if they want to simp for a real woman, while newly minted "High Council" member/TFM #Metoo veteran Merry Mayhem describes this as a learning moment.

Maybe it is a learning moment. In some ways I think Jared himself put it best:

Nice to see a crossover brewing before our very eyes.

Jared has had a history of pretending to be a girl before in the past while hiding his face behind an anime girl pfp. Often with very humorous and downright creepy results.

As Dongs pointed out in his own post, geekyfaggot has learned of the power of deepfakes and has of recently gotten the tendency to download images of random girls or female cosplayers he finds online. He then edits these images and superimposes the face of an asian girl over them (because I guess that's what hes into) to suit the needs of whatever bullshit-story-of-the-day he's cropped up in that weird mind of his, often times editing images of girls that also look dangerously close to being jailbait.

Things don't stop there of course, as he's been found out to have maybe gotten nudes from a minor.

Now, reading this you might think to yourself that maybe he really didn't know, or that maybe he was just catfished. That'd be understandable if not for the fact that he's also been involved in some other funny business behind the scenes.

Besides what you can already find in his dox, which Dongs already linked in his post, he's also been found delving into some erotic role playing and sending images of naked, anime children to someone.

Sen and Kitty 6.jpg Sen and Kitty 8.jpg

You can find more of these DMs here if you care enough about them.

(The other person in the DMs is another can of worms that goes by the name of Senpaishome online, a thirsty tard from the Weeb Wars days that's now hanging out with CCrowe90's (another CG leech and brother of DA Talks) circlejerk of friends. I'm sure he's excited to know that the guy he flirted with was closer than he thought.)

image0-25.png

Not content with just anime kids, you also had him at one point posing and using images of a girl whose father supposedly took risqué photos of while she was underage.

PicsArt_05-26-09.10.06.jpg

And the rabbit hole only seems to go deeper from here. But the fact that it's not the first time he's used photos of girls that look underage to pose as, that he was found to have apparently solicited nudes from a minor and that he's shared anime kid porn on Discord make this dude very suspicious, and that he could have some pretty degenerate stuff hiding behind the curtains. And that the "I'm trans teehee" card that he likes to whip out whenever he gets exposed is probably just a bunch of horse shit.

I'm excited to see where this goes. If it even goes anywhere.
