That's a bit misleading. A significant minority of people literally don't care about politics whatsoever and don't vote at all (1/3 of the electorate didn't vote in 2020). A sample of people registered to either party is a minority of the total population.
That's why I said we're rounding up. The actual population percentage for any of those figures is always going to be small. Even giving Trump and his cultists the largest handicap possible shows that no one believes these "factoids."

He might. Biden's already wandered into the evergreen lands of bipartisan centrism. It's looking likely that progressives won't bother to turn out for 2022 at this rate, leading to the GOP taking the house and then blocking everything Biden tries to do. Same as they did with Obama.

I agree with your point generally, but Blue Texas is a hell of a lot closer than Red California. I see Texas slowly drifting left due to immigrants, Austin growing in population, COMMIEFORNIA expatriates, etc.
