The most telling thing to me about how disconnected people like her are from the working class is that genuine working class people are often quite happy to hear people who started from the bottom are making good money now. My family who all grew up working class whenever I tell them about something that I'm doing or whats going on in my life a question that regularly gets asked is "And are you getting paid for that?" or "How much are you getting?" and if its decent then theyre extremely happy for me. They know what working class existence is like and love me enough to get out of it that they encourage me to monotize practically everything i do. Even to the point where a family member recently encouraged me to go for a civil service job because she has a friend with one who does very little but they still get paid well and get a state pension. I won't be going for it cause I'd rather not contribute to my country's problem of layabouts in the government getting paid well for fuck all
Lindsay, your false embarrassment of riches and denouncing of a system you benefit from isn't fooling anyone, just donate to charity (without posting about it to show how good a person you are) and shut your gob

Debated!" my family were also the ones to teach me most of the people spouting this sort of rhetoric were just scammers and do nothings either too lazy to work and build something for themselves, or junkies looking for a handout so they could drink/drug themselves to death on the country's dime.
