Marvel in general has issues with regards to evergreen titles, in part because of what constitutes "evergreen" by the fans and editorial are 100% radically different to the point of tone deafness when Marvel deems something "evergreen". This is furthered by Ike Pearlmann being a notorious skinflint who refuses to allow Marvel to keep a decent size backstock of trades and hardcovers and demanding they do one printing of every new trade, regardless of it's new or back catalog material and making it next to impossible for Marvel to do reprints of existing trades that sell out immediately, resulting in a LOT of books either falling out of print within days/weeks and never get reprinted or taking YEARS to get a new printing, often in heavily modified form.

Furthermore, iconic runs are rarely collected in full. The freaking Claremont X-Men run was only collected (granted with some major omissions) in the Essential format, which was in black and white. John Byrne's Fantastic Four run is only available in omnibus format at the moment (the original trades long out of print) and even then, only the first of the two omnibus is currently in print. Spider-Man meanwhile is notorious for having key runs/stories out of print and in the case of the Avengers, a huge chunk of their most iconic stories are either OOP on a regular basis or only available in expensive hardcovers/omnibuses which also routinely fall out of print quickly.

Ironically, Marvel made a point to keep Infinity Gauntlet (their sole real "evergreen" book) in print during the climax of the Infinity Saga. But in general, there is no "Marvel Evergreen Canon" like there is DC. At best you have a couple of event stories and even then, their availability depends on the whims of TPTB on what stories stay in print consistently (and in what format).
Has this always been the case with Marvel? Or has this only become an issue within the last couple of years? I ask because this sounds suspiciously close to the "Disney Vault" practice and wonder if some of the culture from Marvel's corporate owners has seeped down.
Texas is trying to prevent public schools teachers teaching current events. Bobby should be happy because this is exactly what China orders teachers in Hong Kong.

The Texas legislature is passing a ban on the teaching of the vile, race-mongering cult of Critical Theory. Teaching kids that "no, White Europeans and their descendants aren't literal demon spawn that are inherently powerful and evil" of course gets the various BlueCheckmark deviants' panties in a twist.

The legislature also passed constitutional carry, which will no doubt also throw the BlueCheckmarks into a tizzy.
The Eternals. Needless to say Bobby would wax philosophical about the trailer.

MCU again broke new ground by casting a 50-something latina woman:

Incoherent rant to the bro who disses the casting of The Eternals.

Nash isn't exactly thrilled about The Eternals.

Bob is such a pathetic consoomer - lapping up this crap just because it has the logo attached to it. I bet Bob doesn't even have a scintilla of knowledge on the property or characters the way that @MirrorNoir has demonstrated.

Also, lol at Blobbert butting into to some random guy's Twitter feed and being told to fuck off.
It takes a real shill not to acknowledge that Marvel’s wandered into "who gives a fuck" territory. It doesn't make you racist to say the movie looks pandering, either. Tokenism hasn't changed because it's 2021.
Bob is the penultimate consoomer and brand loyalist - Marvel could probably produce a movie that was nothing but cheap cardboard figures glued onto Popsicle sticks playfighting for two hours and he would praise it for it's visionary, avant-garde cinematic style and proof that capeshit movies really can be artistic.
And just because it seems to upset Film Robert, here's a version of the Eternals shot with the desaturation cut in half:

As silly as it looks, that is kind of visually interesting and it certainly stands out. I mean, the concept behind this is silly enough, why not just go ahead with the bright colors instead of the heavy saturation? What, do they think they're Zack Snyder or something?

I doubt Bob knows much about crypto currency (I'll admit I myself don't), but he just associates it with dudebros, so of course he takes delight in their hypothetical misery.
Not only does he tie his success with the success of things he likes (Disney, Marvel, Nintendo), he ties his happiness with the misery of people he hates (duebros, Conservatives, etc.). He's a pathetic, fat, empty shell of a human being with little to no personal agency of his own.
Something called Deep Space Nine. Is it a lol-random Japanese cartoon?

....I'm sorry, but nothing pisses me off more than these Twitter degenerates trying to compare the garbage that is modern-day Trek to legitimately good and groundbreaking television like DS9.

It's been SOP for Marvel since Marvel started putting out tons of trades in the early 00s under Jemas and Quesada, as far as Ike's demand to not keep an actual backstock and limiting reprints purely for the sake of saving money.

The only stuff that they actually apply the "Disney Vault" strategy for is the Marvel Masterwork line, which these days only continues to exist to justify remastering/upgrading the art from classic runs for later reuse in trade/omnibus reprints. Masterworks get only one production run, and that's it. The Epic line is somewhat close to getting there but unlike the Mastworks, they do get reprinted though it's helter skelter WHICH volumes get additional print runs.

Also, I'm shocked the right hasn't fucking compared CRT to the anti-Jewish shit that the Nazis forced schools to teach to make everyone hate the Jews in the 1930s. It's so fucking similar it's super fucking scary, as a lot of the anti-white shit in CRT sound exactly like the anti-Jewish shit the Nazis made teachers teach.

This shit is why Bob is one of the most vile cows on the website. He openly enjoys laughing at large groups of people for going into poverty or suffering for petty ideological differences while smugly chuckling in the basement apartment of squalor.

That's easy, regular white people hate white people.

I come back to this lolcow thread about once a week.

And it is truly impressive someone like Blob actually exists. He is just a blackhole of hatred, retardation, ignorance, consooming and virtue signaling.

He is easily one of the most agitating lolcows on this site.
And somehow, despite all of that, Chris is worse. Throwing away an engineering career to beg on Twitter about how broke he is before spending all his money on hipster beer.

I hope everyone who supports BLM has their houses burned down by BLM. If they like radicalism so much and think property destruction is necessary for the oppressed to make their voices heard, let them put their life's work on the chopping block first.

TMBG are pretty much the Strong Sad of nerd bands, self-important and preachy. It's no surprise to see them wrapping their lips around George Floyd's veiny cock. (I'm sick of seeing this Oppression Mascot's ugly face everywhere. Emmet Till's corpse was more photogenic than this guy.) I'm afraid to look up Homestar Runner or Lemon Demon because I get the feeling they're all in on this BLM shit, too. I just have to accept that everything I liked way back in college was horribly cringeworthy and probably actively hates me because I had the audacity to think that Orange Man might not be All That Bad.

As for Chris, if I were a prospective employer and saw his twitter feed filled with nothing but picture after picture of budget microbrews, I might come to the conclusion that he's an alcoholic and consign his resume to the round file. And, with all this foodposting, is Chris trying to prove that his culinary skills are better than his brothers? Because there are dung-eating beetles who could cook up tastier and more edible meals than El Cinema Roberto.

Eh Chris honestly comes across as a man suffering from a midlife crisis and is just an idiot. Bob is just a sociopathic asshole who lacks any notion of empathy or sympathy for others while wondering why people find him repulsive.

Glad I never liked this shit nerd band.
Goddammit, not TMBG! I was never a fan, but they had some pretty fun tunes throughout the years. And now even they have to put their unsolicited opinions on sociopolitical issues into their songs. First Cake, then James, now the Giants. Even pop bullshit like Demi Lovato fancy themselves as the new Woody Guthrie.

And of course, a rube like Chris would approve, because they all love to project their politics into their pop culture acts.

Rogen really is like the sort of individual that is a bit too eager to embrace a new norm or new regime just so the axe won't come down on his head. In addition to the sex pest shit, one of this guy's most defining scenes revolved entirely around "Wanna know how I know you're gay?" He's one to talk about jokes not being palatable to the insatiable Woke crowd these days. But based on his conversation with Count Dankula, I can't help but get the feeling that he's completely fine with ruining comedy so long as his career is intact.
Couldn't agree more. When discussing 2014's The Interview, Rogan famously said, "They don’t have freedom of speech there, so they don’t get that people make stuff," regarding North Korea's threats of retaliation about the film's release.

A person who's movie release was *literally* cancelled due to terrorist threats doesn't believe cancel culture exists. This pussy is more afraid of the leftist mob than assassination. Nobody on this planet should ring the bell harder for freedom of artistic expression than this mook, but here we are.

That hurts to look at.

That has been the most frustrating element to the legion of white BLM lovers. These useful idiots really don't understand that BLM has taken far more than it has ever given. Every building they have torched, every car they have destroyed, every business looted only hurts the regular people who are just trying to get a bit ahead in life. This fucking organization is a pure destructive force that has accomplished nothing good but the people who have been the worst affected mostly have to keep their heads down and deal with it as the rioters
who ruined their lives are idolozed repeatedly by Bob, Chris, and the mass assortment of basic bitches who think spamming posts about it or St. Fentanyl are doing some good with their lives. They don't give a good goddamn about what others have lost simply because those people don't matter at all. Most of them would never do as you suggest and put their property or lives on the line for the cause they upvote so much because they're cowards who think clicktavism is a viable substitute for actual protest.
Eh Chris honestly comes across as a man suffering from a midlife crisis and is just an idiot. Bob is just a sociopathic asshole who lacks any notion of empathy or sympathy for others while wondering why people find him repulsive.
Bob is a repulsive creature, but he's just a modern day cave dwelling ogre at the end of the day. Chris is supposed to have responsibility and be a man who can be stable father and husband. Instead, he's pissing away his pesos on alcoholism (much like Foodie Beauty, what he shows can't be the only things he consumes), an overpriced remodeling that didn't fool the IRS, and useless nerd shit. He should be thinking of his kids and wife through all of this. Bottom line: if Bob fails, his corpse stinks up his hovel for a few days. If Chris fails, he takes his family down into ruin with him.

well at least it's no mt. dew abomination chicken or hot sauce salmonella marinated chicken...
But why was it simmering in a liter of teriyaki sauce?

You also have to laugh at the pic of a sensible meal being sugar and salt coated beef with a pile of veggies coated in oil and egg.

The only way to possibly be more American would be to slap the whole thing between two pieces of bread and fry it.

The really stupid thing about Chris is he's constantly saying

"Hey look at this beer I'm drinking"

"Hey look at my redecorated house"

"Hey I'm going to a big concert and can't wait"

"PLEASE GIVE ME MONEY WE'RE HURTING EVEN A DOLLAR WOULD HELP!"

Yeah Chris if you show off all that other shit people tend to rightfully think you dug your own hole and should lay in it.

If it makes you feel any better, to my knowledge the Brothers Chaps have a little more sense than that, and Homestar Runner continues to be entirely apolitical (and still funny too, imagine that). I don't know if they have personal accounts that they post on or not, but as long as they keep it out of their silly cartoons, I don't much care to look it up and find out.

RLM put out a 45-minute review of this movie yesterday, and I watched the whole thing eagerly. It already has over 400k views a day later.

I already know I couldn't tolerate spending six minutes listening to this fat fuck. The video hasn't been out as long, granted (nice 2AM release, fatso), but it hasn't even broken 10k yet.

I don't claim to be a barometer of public opinion, but it looks like I'm not the only one who can't stand Bob even in small doses.

Having seen people who are in real trouble and genuinely hurting when they ask for money online, it is super suspicious that the Wart never offers any details when he e-begs.

It’s been said by others in the thread, but his wife probably has control over the household’s finances so the e-begging is mostly to get money into his pocket to spend on craft beers.
