I believe what Lupa said was how Erod was outdated and as giving them all a bad rep because of how dated and old vis reviewing style was. Funny thing it wasn't even in private, they openly voiced their dislike for the guy during like one of their commentaries or chat meetings and this was before CtC happened.

Allegedly it happened on the set of To Boldly Flee, where the Walkers and Linkara defended Erod against Allison and SadPanda.

Yeah but there's levels of this. Erod was literally at the bottom while SadPanda and Lupa where just standing on top of him. As such they felt they could look down on him while others looked down on them.

It's all relative.

And CA in its entirety was a puddle of slugde at the bottom of the barrel.

Edit: Turns out I confused AnimeAmerica with Animerica. This is just like when I confuse Nerd to The Third Power with NerdCubed as Dr. Gonzo is part of that podcast and contributed to the document.

Not "hired". CA didn't employ any "producer" except Doug. But its informal pseudo-MCN model is also why it grew a large underclass of content creators nobody gave a fuck about like Lupa. It cost them nothing to bring on and then ignore.

DSP. Seriously there was a point where they were thinking of setting him up as part of "Blistered Thumbs" but then cooler heads prevailed and figured that level of autism would have just killed the site.

There was a thing DSP did. I don't remember if it was part of Project 7, or some VLOG he did but he had a drawing on the wall of "Two Idiots" showing James Rolfe a.k.a the Angry Video Game Nerd and Doug Walker as the Nostalgia Critic. He then laughs and says something like, "what's that doing there?".

DSP was real salty at not being included as part of Channel Autism.

The hilarious part is that measured by raw viewership and income DSP is a more successful content creator than almost everyone who was ever a part of CA, including nearly all of the many contributors to Blistered Thumbs - a shitty project which went nowhere and died due to mismanagement like everything else CA ever did.
