The Endless don't have set in stone features, but they do have looks. Mostly becouse the changing artists but also because it plays into their otherworldlyness. With Death that look happens to be a pale goth girl in her early twenties. An asian actress can look like that but a black actress can't. I would prefer if they hired a white actress on the role as that what Death mostly looks like but any pale POC would have been fine too.

It's retarded stunt casting no matter which way you cut it and note that it always goes in one direction (yes, an Asian actor would have been superior). I know nothing about her and who knows, maybe she'll knock it out of the park, but she's working from a big deficit as far as I'm concerned and as a potential viewer and fan of the source material it's shit like this that is borderline fourth-wall breaking in terms of how distracting it is to see. Gaiman is cucked to hell and back so I wonder how excited he is about them altering characters for internet asspats.

They/them is correct for Desire and, as I have for Doom Patrol, I will stand by them sticking to something that predates the current fad. Desire was they/them in the initial run and they should remain so now.

Fry as Gilbert is an awful choice and I do actually like the guy. He's just utterly unsuitable.
