I have heard the vaccine causes sterility issues, though.

It hasn't been proven.
What has been proven is that SARS-CoV-2 can infect cells in the testicles, as well as standard post-viral fatigue effects on sex (e.g. temporarily less sperm)*; however, there has yet to be any proven correlation between COVID infection and any long-term or permanent damage to reproductive capability - especially when you take into account that most of the aforementioned symptoms come from the >65 age cohort.

Pretty much all sources on it come down to "more research is needed" which is code word for "gibs me more research funding grant money"
