Olly I just want you to know that being gay can get you killed in many countries. Also "what other people may do freely".... are you fucking stupid or are you just pretending to be? Same-sex marriage is only legal in 29 countries, with the U.S. legalizing gay marriage in 2015 and the U.K. doing so nation-wide just last year, so don't act like every """cis""" person can (or has always been able to) freely get married. You just need to apply for a fucking certificate and you can freely get married.

Olly implies that the black trannies were arrested for being trans, which isn't the case.

Almost like during the 1890s her parents would've preferred to raise her as a woman rather than a gay man, which is unfortunately something we still see today with many """""trans""""" children.

Does taking cross-sex hormones really make someone so mentally retarded? How difficult is it to understand that someone being born a man or a woman isn't the same as a man who wants to chop off his dick and balls and wants to be called a woman? The reason why I don't need a doctor's approval for being a man is because I don't expect them to give me hormones that are unnatural to my body, don't ask for risky surgeries that might severly impact my life in a negative way or pretend that a screaming bearded man with a wig on and a tutu who is jerking off to his own mirror reflection is equivalent to a woman. Believe it or not Ollie, doctors gatekeep not because they're all evil transphobes, but because they see the damage that self-ID can do. Same-sex marriage is passé for those people. Retrospectively I even have to think that it was a mistake in the USA and opened pandora's box which we call now "gender identity". I myself would have been satisfied with a civil union. I still cringe when a man calls his partner a "husband". As soon as gay marriage was legalized, the democratic party abandoned gay men and lesbians and had already their new favourite minority, namely trannies. Rose McGowan was able to call gay men misogynist and that they don't care about women's sexual assault around 2018. This is something that would have been haram to do for a good progressive in 2013. A progressive channel even said that gay men are more prone to fascism and hence shouldn't be completely trusted. If you said that just some years earlier progressives would have called you a homphobe and conspiracy theorist since it sounds very similar to the book "Pink Swastika".

If you scroll way, way back, his channel used to be all about introducing his viewers to the different philosophies of famous philosophers, applying them to a common, modern morality question and asking his viewers to discuss their viewpoints in the comments. Then, somewhere in 2019 (or 2018?) he met up with Hontra and his "production value" went up and he basically just became a carbon copy of early ContraPoints. Hontra used to throw in famous philosophers for good measure as well but that kind of just stopped down the road and the whole channel now only revolves around ALL THE WOES UZ TRANZ WIMMIN face and which ALL YALL CIS PEOPLE DONT HAVE TO! Seeing that happening to Olly too now and fast at that. Shame, really. His channel was pretty good before he trooned out tbh.
Hontra used to throw in some vids not about tranny issues now and then (even though it always came back to his "STRUGGLES AS A TRANS WOMAN AND WHY I CAN RELATE BC OF THAT!") but that just... stopped.
U insane? Between him and Hontra, we'll all be on the transplant list for new livers by the end of summer.

Based off of this exceptionally unfunny tweet that either him or one of his podcast co-hosts wrote, it seems that Olly is on the side of kink at Pride discourse that encourages kink and public nudity regardless of whether or not children are present. Not at all surprising coming from the living embodiment of AGP. So glad to see troons everywhere encouraging absolute degeneracy at LGBT events, what great LGB allies they are.

He was good at very entry level stuff, which was the point of the channel initially. The videos on hegelian dialectic, Logic, and Confucius were alright, but they contained exactly what you'd hear in a 101 class or even a wikipedia article about those things.
The rest of the catalog is either tertiary sources and/or highly politicized pop-philosophy with a few namedrops here and there. If you're going to call yourself "Philosophy Tube" you should provide proper context and discussion for these things. Even Contra almost did that on occasion. I'm guessing the channel name will be dropped soon enough.

Pretty sure the tranny craze would have happened without gay marriage to be honest. Japan and a lot of countries in Europe (most prominently Italy) never legalised it but the same weirdos pop up on the internet regardless. Troonery is more a product of certain toxic online subcultures than anything else, since it's not really prevalent in real life outside fetish clubs and celebrity culture. The earliest lolcow troons like Brianna Wu and Tomgirl Chris were part of this trend and started pre-2015, when it was first breaking into the mainstream in the early 2010s.
I've even seen crazy internet troons from Poland, where open homosexuality/troonery is socially unacceptable.

I want to see a breadtuber head to head over this issue, I also find it funny that the only people who have been talking about degen things at pride have been straight themselves (shoe and vaush). They are right to be outraged, but even right leaning people have mostly just conceded to the idea that pride is just a gay orgy. I guess Vaush is trying to talk about it from an "optics" view, but the reality is that's what people go to them for. I can sit here all day and talk about how strip clubs are bad and how they harm people, but I'm not the clientele. In the same way vaush will lose this issue, he may be the king of socialism online but I doubt the men who want to do gay stripper dancing in the street give two shits.
