1) If it's man-made and leaked there should be telltale signs in its genetic makeup. It'll be obvious once it gets put under a electron microscope and fully sequenced out. The current vaccine producers would know by now. Either this didn't happen or they're keeping their mouths shut. If it's a legit bioweapon, the main question is why wasn't the effective mortality rate higher? To keep the world from panic shutdowns sooner? Lot of interesting speculation to be had there.
Engineered doesn't only mean bioweapon. Gain-of-function research is primarily used to determine the potential for a virus to jump species barriers or develop more dangerous mutations.

Or. more likely, it got released too early. When making a Bioweapon, infectivity comes before lethality.
Tin foil hat time

Intelligence community heard there was a bio weapon coming from China and it was going to be a big one, so governments acted in the way that they have: control the spread, masks etc.

However, the intelligence reports were of the second, not first, wave of the virus. The chinks knew that the west were on to them so they released a weak virus to:

Waste resources
To test the response capability of the enemy
To erode trust in governments
To make a population wary to lockdowns

Then, when the second wave is launched, nobody will take it seriously and the effectiveness of snuffing people out will be much greater.

extra kicker: The vaccines will increase the mortality of the second virus.

This is a good point.

If the leak theory pans out, it was probably something like this. Research that just got loose somehow.

China is not stupid enough to try to release a bioweapon offensively. They like their land not being a nuclear wasteland which committing an act of war would create. Additionally, they are so large in terms of border there is no way the disease wouldn't infect them too. It'd be suicidal on multiple levels.

We should never have done business with a communist country, period. Now that they have shown they can't properly run a very dangerous lab will the world finally sanction communist China?

I doubt it, our easily bought politicians in the west don't give two shits about doing what's right. Let's hope the next virus to leak from their lab is 100% deadly, get this retarded clownworld over with already.

I find I am skeptical about it being tests to better humanity. Its bloody china.
Oh I'm sure their research was aimed at finding ways to extract tributemoney from westerners rather than for the betterment of mankind. Of course they also recognise that coronaviruses are a potential threat to their own social stability, so they'd be doing the same research purely out of self interest. Getting foreigners to pay for the lab (and creaming off most of the money while they do) is just icing on the cake.

Speaking of, this whole coronapanic circus really does feel so scripted.

Event 201 simulates an outbreak of a novel zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to pigs to people that eventually becomes efficiently transmissible from person to person, leading to a severe pandemic. The pathogen and the disease it causes are modeled largely on SARS, but it is more transmissible in the community setting by people with mild symptoms.
This is from 2019.

Let's not forget they tried to pull the same thing with the avian and swine flu back in the day. Just the states didn't cooperate.

Maybe this is just consistence, it is possible easily. Just how NORAD happened to held a terrorist hijack exercise on 9/11 2001.
Things just happen, we live in a chaotic world man.

Not if they have a vaccine that actually works though.

You have to admit the shockingly small numbers being presented as China's pandemic, is beyond ridiculous for their population.

No vaccine is perfect, and the more lethal a disease is the less effective a vaccine can be since your methods of really making a vaccine have to avoid just giving people the disease. Now, that is an over-simplification, yes, but the general rule applies.

As to the numbers, yes its shockingly small. Because they are just lying about the death totals.

Exactly, and people wonder why there is skepticism in the official news.
It is especially telling that the media never digs into these coincidences.
We should never have done business with a communist country, period. Now that they have shown they can't properly run a very dangerous lab will the world finally sanction communist China?
Nah. Business is too good. If Europe and North America didn't export them food and purchased their industrial output, China would collapse in a few years. Of course the big brains running the countries and their globalization mantra made sure that many supply chains start in China.

So much for Cold War 2.0.

Two ways to look at the recent acceptance of the lab leak theory by the MSM

1) China is in fact not responsible but for some reason the DC bugmen and their propaganda outlets have decided to go full press because reasons. This doesn't seem all that likely to me as there is just too much money invested in the Chinese economy and the corporate sector cannot countenance any restrictions in the flow of capital into China (the main reason they got rid of Trump).

2) This is a cover for something far worse. What could that be? Don't know but I have noticed all the media reports and the Biden administration statements constantly referencing "the possibility of an accidental leak". What if they had overwhelming intelligence that China, or some other state actor, released the coof on purpose? A good tell for a cover up is when confirmed liars start admitting the truth, but only part of the truth. It makes sense as the scientific consensus that the coof is man made is now overwhelming and admitting this allows them to cover up the bigger scandal which if it became common knowledge would lead to sanctions against the Chinese (costing them trillions).
A third (admittedly tinfoil-y) option is that they are setting up China to take the blame if problems with the vaccines show up down the line. They can then revert to it being a bioweapon after all that was designed to cause these issues -- totally not long term effects of an untested, experimental vaccine that they pressured everyone to take.

The Malaysian government, after seeing cases reaching new highs in the past few days, has decided to go on a nationwide full lock down for 2 weeks starting June 1st.

The only problem?
They announced it days before it goes into effect.

Covid-19: Nationwide full lockdown from June 1 to 14

PETALING JAYA: A nationwide full lockdown will take place from June 1 to 14 and all sectors will not be allowed to operate during this period except the essential economic and service sectors.

A special National Security Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Friday (May 28) made the decision to implement the full lockdown for 14 days.

In a statement by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), it said the decision was made following the steep climb of Covid-19 cases that breached the 8,000 mark with more than 70,000 active cases on Friday.

"So far, 2,552 people have died and the number is climbing.

"The existence of new and more violent virus variants that are highly infectious also influenced today's decision.

"With the steeply increasing numbers, our hospital capacity nationwide to treat Covid-19 patients is also getting thinner," the statement read.

Should this first phase of lockdown succeed in reducing the number of daily cases, the PMO said the government would move on to the second phase that allows some economic sectors to open provided no large gatherings are involved and physical distancing is practised.

"Phase Two of the lockdown is expected to last for four weeks after Phase One ends.

"After that, Phase Three would start with the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) where no social activities are allowed.

"Most economic sectors would be allowed to operate according to strict SOPs and physical distancing at workplaces, which will be limited," it said, adding that the decision to move from one phase to the next is subject to risk assessments by the Health Ministry.

"The assessment would be made based on the daily cases and the hospitals' capacity nationwide to treat Covid-19 patients," it added.

PMO also assured that the government would prevent the country's public health system from collapsing.

"Various support and assistance will be given to the Health Ministry to increase the hospital capacity throughout the country.

"The government will also increase the number of vaccines to be administered to the people over the next few weeks to expedite herd immunity in the country."

Following the government's decision to implement a full closure of the economic and social sectors, PMO said the Finance Ministry would detail the assistance package to the people and affected businesses.

"An announcement on this assistance package will be made soonest.

"We call on all Malaysians to remain disciplined and always adhere to the SOPs to break the chain of Covid-19 infections.

"It is best to stay home to flatten the Covid-19 infection curve," it added.

'Better late than never!': Malaysians look forward to lockdown but some want more details

PETALING JAYA: Many Malaysians on social media welcome the government's announcement on Friday (May 28) of a nationwide full lockdown, similar to the first movement control order in March of last year.
Scheduled to take place from June 1 to 14, all sectors, except essential economic and service sectors, will not be allowed to operate during this period.

Optimistic Malaysians are calling for the people to stand united and play their part in flattening the Covid-19 curve, once again.
"Fellow Malaysians, let's put aside all disagreement, let's make it work... for our better future," said Facebook user Justin Anson.
Samantha Tan echoed the call, saying that she's "super grateful" for the decision.
"No complaints (from me)! Let's do it Malaysians. Now or never. We couldn't afford any more death and infections," she said.
Over on Instagram, user Nasi Lemak urged Malaysians to follow all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) as best as possible so that the nation can get rid of Covid-19 once and for all where everyone may then go back to how things were.
"Finally, this will be very painful for many, but I believe this is the best approach that we all have to take before Covid-19 goes spiralling out of control. We can do this, Malaysia. Stay strong, stay positive, stay at home," said Instagram user Muhamad Za'im Mahadi.
Aditya Willie said Malaysia could have implemented this earlier, before adding that it's "better late than never".
Despite agreeing with the decision, Facebook user Thiru Senthan said the state of Covid-19 infections in Malaysia wouldn't have been in its current state if "this was implemented right at the beginning".
Tommy Low sang a similar tune when he said; "What could have been solved in four weeks now needs much much longer. I pity those roadside kiosks... no business."
However, not everyone on social media is taking the announcement positively.
Seemingly sceptical, Facebook user Shoddy Singh said he will choose to wait and see what is categorised under the essential economic services first before drawing any conclusions.
Willie Huan was also doubtful, saying that it's "just another name", predicting that all economic sectors will be opened later.
There are also those who have more questions following the announcement, like Instagram user Nor-ain Ambolodto Guiapal who went directly for the big question out of fear for the poor.
"Is the government giving financial aids during these difficult times?" she asked.
Similarly, Noel Then Yun Sen also asked if the government will be providing "any financial help for the business that's unable to open".
