Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Two hours ago I got the second part of the Pfizer vaccine.

So far my arm's kinda sore and I'm a little woozy but that could be because I need lunch.

Edit - It's now been about 7 1/2 hours since the vaccine. My arm feels like it's been punched and I'm tired as hell even after food and a nap. Granted, it's been a gray rainy day and those always make me feel blah. I demand to feel better, I have stuff to do.

Edit 2 - It's been almost 10 hours since vaccine. All my joints hurt. Fingers, wrists, elbows, neck, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles. Fatigue is real and in da house. Also I cannot stop eating HUGE meals, one right after another. My stomach hates me and my instinct is still pointing me toward the kitchen. WTF. This blows.

Edit 3 - 16 hours since vaccine. Went to bed a little early because I felt bad. Ended up tossing and turning and feeling like I was freezing even though I had plenty of cover and the house isn't cold. Also pinprick-like stabby feelings in random places, usually legs. Finally got up to see about myself and not only am I tired and everything is creaky and hurts but I have a fever of 101.6. Not the worst thing in the world but it is inconveniencing me so I complain. Gonna have some Tylenol and go back to bed.

Edit 4 - an hour since last update. I still feel the same except now I'm overheating instead of cold, I'm really hungry and it feels like an ice pick migraine is trying to start. This sucks.

Edit 5 - 23 hours since vaccine. I woke up feeling like my shoulders and hip joints were frozen. There are SO many muscle, tendon and joint pains but I guess I expected that after all the tossing, turning and shivering I was doing last night. Had a fever of 100.4, took some ibuprofin. I'm hungry but my stomach isn't awake yet. The last time I was craving such vast quantities of heavy food was after I'd had a surgery to remove a tumor.

Edit 6 - 33 hours since vaccination. After a nap and a hot shower I felt a little better but still stiff and achy. Random fatigue hits out of nowhere. No matter how much I eat I still feel like I need more. My temperature as of a few minutes ago was 98.9. I'm doomed.

Edit 7 - 36 hours after vaccine. I still feel achy and blah, like I'm coming down with something or if I've overworked myself. Like if I'd just moved house or attended a 3-day convention with lots of cosplay wardrobe changes. Temperature is 99.3 so I'll probably take some more Tylenol or Ibuprofin before bed.

Edit 8 - 48 hours since vaccination. Woke up this morning feeling like I usually do. Not sure I trust it. Temperature 98.0. I am waiting for a limb to fall off or superpowers to manifest.

Edit 9 - 3 days since vaccination. I think I might survive it. Not sure if recommend or no.

Edit 10 - 5 days since vaccine. Yesterday and today I've gotten "brain zaps" like when you stop taking an SSRI. It's just happened a couple times so far, but even that is too often.

Edit 11 - 14 days since the vaccine. I still feel tired and achy but that could be because Old. I do not feel smug for having gotten the vaccine. I had suspected that might be a side effect but maybe not. I've been taking 1200 mg of fish oil daily for the "brain zaps" and they have stopped. No one cares that I'm vaccinated. At two different medical offices no one asked and no one seemed especially interested when I mentioned it. This is hilarious.

Not trying to start shit with you or insult you, but if you wouldn't mind answering: why do you trust Pfizer, Inc.? Are you aware that they were hit with a 2.3 billion dollar fine back in 2009 by the DOJ for engaging in all kinds of fraud and kickback shit? Were you also aware that they've engaged in similar unethical behavior for decades and have been repeatedly caught and fined by the feds and various state governments as well?

I don't know what happened to the American people I can understand faggots in Europe and Asian bug peoples practically bending over ass backwards to get an experimental Vaccine from pharmaceutical companies that have committed countless atrocities. I don't think I can feel any more shame for my country than I have in the last 2 years

Why the hell do we trust the Chinese to handle dangerous bio-research if they don't even bother to wear fucking gloves when fucking around with test subjects? Don't you need a fucking moon suit and decontamination procedures to be in the same room with these experimental pathogens?

Actually, it's surprising to me that China hasn't hit back on America's new-found focus on the lab leak theory. Usually by now they'd be accusing them of false flagging them and trotting out their own experts to say that covid definitely came from a pangolin fucking a bat which was then eaten by some dirty peasant in a wet market.

I read a bunch of stuff about all the vaccines out there, good and bad.
The ultimate deciding factor was that the Pfizer one is what they were offering at the most convenient location to me. Science!

I can't prove it, but it feels like there's been a shift in the way vaccines being promoted by the NHS. My GP texted me to offer me the AZ one specifically, rather than just "a vaccine". To be honest, given that there's finally acknowledgement of the blood clotting problem on the BBC (they say it's extremely rare, so I reckon they'll be admitting the full scale of the problem - whatever it is - in about two weeks), the fact that the NHS has suddenly starting to recommend that vaccine by name is a little weird.

And to think, at the start of all this, I was saying that the AZ vax looked like it would be the least harmful...

Wife got a jab on tuesday. Pfizer. It was apparently a work requirement because she works at a food manufacturer (even though she's in administration rather than on the floor). She got it on tuesday, her period started the next day (which is way early) and she had a screaming headache yesterday. She seems alright at the moment. I'll let you know if she turns into a flesh-eating zombie.

a hot take on why the jabs are causing the issues they are causing. I’m sure this doctor will be revealed to be a quack and a anti vax science denier...

Here we go , baby! Front row seat to the new narrative.

Bats caused Covid like Monkeys caused HIV/AIDS

Same here. I had three texts in one week, 2 for pfizer and one for AZ. They even sent a letter through my door explaining all of the benefits (to the community) of me getting vaccinated. That shit went straight in to the bin.

What concerned me the most is that they said the rollout for people in their 40's have started, and those in their 30's with health issues/those who are shielded. I'm neither.

I'm not saying this to sound like Billy Big Bollox, but any work place that says i need to be vaccinated to continue to work there, will be getting a letter of resignation and a friendly phone-call from a solicitor.

Does anyone of the Covid sceptics actually, seriously consider wearing a mask to protect themselves from exhaled spike proteins from vaccinated people?
It's completely outlandish, and a laughing point among the Branch Covidians, and it glows harder than Reactor 4.
spike proteins are even smaller than the virus. Wearing a mask to stop a virus, much less a tiny part of a virus, is like standing by a chainlink fence and hoping it protects you from the rain. I mean maybe it stops a few drops, good enough mandate it!
