I mean yeah, it’s not right for a captioner or interpreter to choose what a deaf or hard of hearing person should and shouldn’t be told. It’s confusing for an HOH person with some useful hearing when the audio and captions don’t match up, and it’s demeaning for a deaf person to not be allowed full access to communication. Wedge is right about that much. But 1) Wedge claiming to be Deaf is so fuckin funny to me. Doesn’t he only have like 10 dB of hearing loss? 10 dB is not deaf or HOH. You’re hearing Wedge, get over it. People with hearing loss don’t want you speaking on our behalf. And 2) this is about captions on porn?
