I think one of the most invaluable things one can do is not to follow any creative person they admire on Twitter. Just do everything you can to avoid observing the brain worms doing their work. In fact, just don’t use Twitter at all.
They say "never meet your heroes" for a reason. At this point in my life, I don't care what the fuck someone whose product I consume thinks. I don't want to know your political views or whether or not you like lactose-free strawberry ice cream mixed with virgin's blood. Just play/write/draw the songs/stories/pictures I enjoy.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but every piece of fiction is political. All writers have biases that unconsciously slip into their work, it's just that nowadays writers often intentionally interject their retarded beliefs into their work. Culture and cultural attitudes have also shifted significantly from the 2000s onward to the point trooned out and butch Lesbian Latina pedophile characters are normative. Some writers get off to the Right wing backlash but others are genuinely confused or frightened by it because these things are normal in their own echo chamber.

I've always disliked Superhero films and comic books, not because I don't enjoy the medium. I used to be an avid Archie reader among my more cringeworthy habits when I was a younger Kaiser.

The problem I've found with the modern comic book stuff is that it literally was being infested and rotted out from the inside in terms of comic books and therefore it was only going to be a matter of time before the acolytes of woke in Hollywood started inserting their toxicity into the genre.

I was more surprised by the fans reaction to this. Of course they were going to target it, one it's popular culture, two the mouth breathers on the left are just as much into escapist fantasy as other peoples are, if not more. (100k of student loan debt, a part time job as a barista, and a collection of 200 funko pops.) It's simple really, if you are a patron of comics in general go ahead an read something by an artist that is based, they aren't hard to find. You just need to look outside of the conventional circles to find them. Same for good films, your just going to have to do some digging and maybe look back to the older stuff that was produced before the cultural cancer of wokeness pervaded everything.

As for other Hollywood cinema, it's utterly devoid of any artistic merit and I've pretty much given up watching anything new that isn't made from the independent film producers, is vetted, or I really want to see despite knowing it's going to be awful. (Godzilla V Kong.) Same goes for television series, the whole push for diversity bullshit really just cheapens the already subpar writing of a lot of stuff.

I've been watching older Hollywood films, foreign cinema, foreign TV series where the institutional rot hasn't set in.

Same with books, I tend to stick to older titles because I don't like how modern science fiction or general fiction has been invaded by woke bullshit that tends to read like poorly disguised woke fanfiction, rather than an actual novel.

Example, a friend of mine was reading a feminist African author, who refused to punctuate sentences because periods were an invention of patriarchy. My minimal reading revealed a book that was underwhelming word salad, not helped by lack of punctuation. But I'm part of the Partriarchy, so what would I know? I got my just revenge by buying her "Life Of A Pimp." By Iceberg Slim.

The latter two came out nearly 5 years ago, the 3rd one is sincerly only for fans of David Lynch.

I really can't understand why we've fallen so hard from the "Golden Age of Television." The Sopranos was written almost exclusively by Hollywood liberals, it has many feminist themes and portrays "toxic masculinity." It wasn't shy about knocking the Bush Administration. But it wasn't shoving politics down your throat. It wasn't a full blown polemic against society or a political belief. It was just well written entertainment.
 
A few comedians I used to listen to all the time now annoy me to think about.
Patton Oswalt used to be one of my favorites, but reading what he was saying back when people where protesting to be able to work when the country shi down really rubbed me the wrong way.

It's not even the politics that turned me off, comedians are always against the establishment and we all know what the flavor of the month was for the past 4 years,,

What really gets to me is how far removed he and many wealthy mouth pieces are from the rest of us.
He didnt have to worry about feeding anyone, amongst other things. He's stiting comfy somewhere in a big house with money to spare.

Same thing with Joe Rogen. Used to love his podcast, wont go into too much detail of when it went down hill, but I remember listening to him early this year when Texas was in crisis, and people where freezing to death or dying from fumes trying to heat their homes- and there sit Rogen literally scotch and whiskey in hand, Telling the gust "yeah it's not so bad here".

I can't put it to words quite right, but it bothers me to no end how people who sit cozy in big houses far away from the proles sit around and go off about how x and y is horrible and how dare you do or think x.
But this is coming from people who arnt in the same world most of their fans are in.
It's meme-ey but true example are 18- 20 something year old communists who come from upper middle class towns who don't realize most of the states/world do not liveor grew up like they did. Mean while they look down on you for not being like them. It's like that Dead Kennedys song when the kid brags about how he knows how ghetto blacks feel and how much soul the slums have all while he drives around in his father's car. I've know types like that, it's so peculiar the things they go on about.
Journalists seem to be like this, thye all come from or atleast intermingle with the same circles and look down at the slums from their ivory towers and wonder why the rest of the people can't be like them.

Also I know it's been said so much before but fuck Steven Colbert. Used to love him back on comedy central, him on the daily show and colbert report are some fond memories from back them. I hate the meme bull shit but his serious TDS and his air of holier than thou screen presence made me hate the guy.
Comedians shouldnt be preachy, even Carlin got preachy at the end, when they show you "isnt that crazy? why dosnt anyone talk about this? and make you laugh doing it that's when their golden. But when they tell you straight up what to feel like a kid in community college treating you like an invalid for not knowing something he just learnt last week, their a freakin hack man. Hicks was preachy but he had some good points. Someone like Trevor Noah I hate to ay had some good bits in one special I saw years ago, but he'll preach politics to you with out nuance and that's when it becomes tiresome.
 
Have you guys mention the show The Rookie? Is Nathan Fillion new job.

The first 2 seasons were great with a very deep and researched take on police work, from paperwork to procedure and protocol. Was kinda boring at times but very realistic.

Now, season 4 is full of BLM and Defund the Police propaganda. Is awful, more so because they paint cops as supporters of getting pay cuts and to re-label certain crimes as non felonies: the last episode of the season shows Nolan (Nathan Fillion character) getting injured chasing a perp who robbed a store. Nolan fought the DA in wanting to make the case a "misdemeanor" instead of a felony.

So, taking that logic, robbing a store shouldn't be a crime to the writers of the show. Of course the writers are now all leftards because to them robbing a store and purposely fucking other people livelihood is the same as jaywalking or not recycling.

I don't even want know about Blue Bloods because the show as it was one of the most surprisingly based/least pozzed things on modern television--like the daughter is a SJW but mostly gets in trouble due to her shithead friends, like one of her friends faking a hate crime or another nearly sending her to prison because he brought a bag of coke into her car and didn't 'fess up immediately. There was one episode where the police chief (uncharacteristically) threw an officer under the bus for questioning a perp's legality to be in the country, but he reinstates her in a later episode.

But ViacomCBS is pozzed and will probably fuck it up somehow post-Fenty Floyd if they haven't already.

The problem is organizational. I can say from the inside just how insipid it all is. You have a writer who might be a bit of a lefty, but that's fine because they're pretty normal despite that. They get hired into Hollywood and boom money, fame, etc, etc. They have kids, who are also lefties and get hired because Hollywood is highly nepotistic, and their already primed to this BS because of the creative writing degree they took in college or whatever else meme tier degree they took. They replace the older crews/producers/runners/writers who every 5 to 10 years turn over with retirement, and what you get is a truly woke echo chamber that gate keeps itself. Echo chambers create extreme views of certain policies, and so since it's in vogue in Hollywood to be woke, it's literally who can swing their dick the widest. Same with most creative industries that allow these SJW types to infest their companies.

Same way academia has gotten progressively worse over time. My favorite professors in University were the older generation who were more based in my opinion than the fresh out of university softies I got stuck with in my other electives.

Nothing short of being a Trojan horse (pretending to be left or apolitical) seeking alternative means of production, or waiting for the money to drop out of the bottom the industry. (Not long considering Oscar and Hollywood viewing figures.) Is an option for truly right wing mindset people in the creative industry.

I know quite a few people of the Trojan horse type, myself included who are right wingers or centrist politically, but write this shit because it's what the industry is paying top dollar for. Sad fact of life, the producers want this woke shit and it's what gets the greenlight, even if the actual writers don't give a fuck about it. That's why you get some shows that the woke element or token characters are just lazy additions, the writer had added it in because that's what sells the script not because they actually give a shit. And the insipid part about it, is you don't write it, you don't sell it, you don't work, you don't eat.

I was incredulous as well. When I first picked it up and checked the first page I thought the copy editor was drunk or something, then the foreword gave it all away. Feminist struggles of a African immigrant in the UK who faces institutional racism, while shifting from meaningless relationship to relationship. Sounded like a real nugget of shit.

Really revealing why said friend is a proto-feminist brainlet sometimes when this is the literature she reads. Every now and again I produce a few counter points to disillusion her leftist narratives, and I've made some progress in that regard, but it's hard when you see the trash they read in their free time.

I dunno, Steve Schirripa is on that show and he's even more unwoke than Selleck. Actors are far from reliable in determining a show's obnoxiousness, but having two of them seems like a good sign.
 
An interesting site I used to visit was Historical Football Kits. Basically, it was one guy from Wales cataloging the kits worn by teams in a vast number of footy competitions, such as the World Cup and the Premier League.

I knew he was your typical smug liberal, since he inserted some snide remarks about right-wingers in his short match reviews, and once commented that the Brexit referendum was about "The UK being European". Pretty sure the UK is European, regardless of the existence of the EU, bubs. But since shit hit the fan in 2020 he went all-in with the lefty bullshit. He just felt the need to not only insert a huge banner that had BLM, Save the NHS, Refugees Welcome and Love Is Love atop the site, he also shared an incredibly biased Guardian article (but I repeat myself) about how the impeachment process in Brazil in 2016 was a coup and how the far-right led by Bolsonaro is this total fucking danger to the world's democracy, and how even the late creator of the iconic Brazilian NT kit went in with the narrative and disregarded his own creation due to Bolsonaro and his fans/voters using it as a non-official uniform for their nationalist platforms.

Since then, I have never given one single click to that site. I know he wins some cents per visit, so at the very least, I am not giving him any sort of revenue. He has the right to hold on to his beliefs, and I have the right to not give him any money. Simple as.

Did you know that they released a 7th season of Reno 911! last year? It wasn’t quite as funny as earlier seasons, but it still has most of the original cast members and manages to retain a lot of the original spirit of the show. They’re currently working on season 8 now.

War gaming is even better because Wokies aren't smart enough for it and are too lazy to do anything that requires a modicum of effort. It's largely why they've been so unsuccessful at infesting the Warhammer Fandom.

They don't need to play the game. They don't even need to be able to think. This is just a script written well in advance: all they have to do is say they do and talk about how "disappointed" they are about X being "bigoted" or "problematic".
