So, we have a man-made vaccine for a man-made virus? I've been thinking about this lately. Surely nothing could go wrong.

Well it turns out that the gain of function research going on at the lab was being funded by the American taxpayer, so there's that. In my opinion they knew it was man made from the beginning but decided on a cover up.

The research in Wuhan was being funded by the US gov because Obama considered it too risky to be carried out in the States and banned it, but Fauci did an end run around the ban by approving a grant to a third party contractor which then pumped money into Wuhan. When Trump rescinded the ban in 2017 Fauci continued with the funding anyway, because why not?

It's a really great example of how the permanent bureaucracy view themselves as above political oversight and will do whatever the fuck they want because "they know better" than democratically elected politicians.

Fauci is in big trouble, especially if it comes out that he financially benefited from the research funding. I get he's considered the High Priest of the Branch Covidian cult, which has meant he's been untouchable for the past year. But clearly the pandemic scare is winding down and this is a scandal so big there will for sure be asses on the line and scalps taken. He's a confirmed liar and a corrupt piece of shit so I sincerely hope his reputation is destroyed (although he deserves prison time).

Just after putting these two quotes together a totally plausible scenario appears. The same people who were involved in gain of function research provided info and/or were directly involved in vaccine research. Therefore, the operation Warp Speed had a great boost from the very beginning if you get my drift.
What if they made vaccines for virus they knew would be released? Does it seem too far fetched? Both are trashy products because well, the quality of everything is going down, and incompetence abounds even in the sacred temples of modern science, but from the business perspective it looks like a great money-maker overall.

Personally I don't know if this was a bioweapon or not, but I am sure about one thing. A bio weapon doesn't necessarily need to be lethal. (I would like to point out that many countries basically have a bio weapons program, they just say it is for bio security. We create the T virus, so we can create the antidote for it. This is pure autism on my part, but I have a few ideas. Of course it can be totally true they really just put them out as tools to help stopping the spread.
I mean I would easily believe that people in charge had a pandemic scare, people acted on it and refuse to admit "whoops it wasn't as serious as we thought, sorry for the lockdowns."

At the end of the day leaders get their suggestions from Experts, their networks and own biases. Due to how compartmentalized everything is, it is easy to give somebody junk data, lies or data badly interpret and the whole machinery keeps rolling because on their level the logic checks out. Maybe some bad actors can look at existing and legit contingency plans and just basically use those to have what they want. Many organizations roll on autopilots when it comes to that. Not to mention many organizations likes doing things because they want to be important and get more cred/funding. I grew to see many institutions as basically vain beings who can be bribed by good press and a feeling of importance. (having financial kickbacks on multiple levels too help)

It is something that acts to sell the pandemic and new normal narrative. Many parts of the lockdowns and "social distancing" are basically theatrical tools to tell a story in society. It sounds crazy, but if you are having doubts, but everybody (seems) to do something you will not really deviate from that. Society works by basically amplifying, faking or forcing social clues and proof via media and other institutions. Not to mention if you have to do a little routine or ritual, it will feel more real for your brain. Your status quo has changed visibly and actionably. A benefit of that, if you are taking part of the whole cultural momentum, people who don't play along are downright your enemies. You are doing your part, yet the others don't. They must be malicious.

Beside that it became a tool of enforcing the political divide (when actually left and right needs to unite if they want to fight the powers that be) by becoming a political uniform.
Seriously, you see somebody with a masked up profile picture and you can guess most of his politics. The dialectic set up is that you are either on the side of Science! or Freedom!. That is insidious, but sadly not a new thing. It's been really a consistent media project to paint globohomo stuff as the high status and smart thing. I brought this up with a friend that lives in Indy, and his take was that the schools were 100% in the right. I pointed out that some poeple might not be able to get vaccinated due to allergies. Then the conversation went like -

The chinese economy exploded last year. My take? All the media hysteria in March 2020 onwards made a lot of people realize and fear their own mortality for the first time in their lives. It's shocking how many people in the world never really conceptualized that one day, no matter what they do, they will die.

The mask is sort of a security talisman or safety blanket for them. By wearing it, they feel like they're protected from dying once again. However, the media pumped out the (true) fact that unless we're talking about a N95 mask and goggles, it doesn't do shit to protect you. At best, it's a strapped on sleeve sneeze. So, the governments (desperate to keep the pleb tiers going to their menial wage jobs and consooming from the businesses and stores they allowed to stay open) put out the mandates to make the manchildren who realized they were mortal just functional enough to still keep the money rolling in.

Also, it makes the government look like they're 'doing something', and it also transfers all the blame from government incompetence and the inevitability of death and disease to the individual, it allows people to blame every case, every restriction, etc. on people not complying hard enough with their masks. That's why they're so rabid about the masks and "Anti-maskers". To them, it's a magic talisman which removes the sheer horror they experienced being confronted by the concept of their own death.

This was the take told to me by a close contact of mine who doesn't believe in any of the conspiracy stuff, but thinks all this COVID-19 shit is dumb. And personally, I think it's the most rational take to all the bullshit we've experienced over the past year and a half.

This is also why they're obsessed with the vaccine, they feel that by getting vaccinated, they can go back to their child-like bliss of never having to be confronted by the thought they will die someday.
