Hmm...but OB/GYN isn’t a trad female job. Being a doctor of any sort is a trad male job, if anything. Too much money and prestige, trad female jobs are devalued, both outside and inside the home.

A more relevant example would be, I’m pretty sure you could find plenty of folks arguing against men being preschool teachers, or working directly with children too young to really understand or report abuse. That is a trad female job, and a man doing that job is one that would alarm a lot of people, not just terves.

I ended up with the male OB/GYN at the practice I went to because when I stated my preference for a scheduled c-section, the lady asked me if it was because I’d been molested. Lol no I was not molested, I’m just a planner. The guy was like, ok great, I can fit you in on this particular Friday when you will be exactly 38 weeks (because of travel I knew the exact date of conception) before I leave for my son’s destination wedding in Bali. Sold!

I liked reading the “Men’s Bodies” thing because 1. They basically all write in the exact same banal, self-pitying & self-conscious voice and 2. I'm not trained in psychology, so I would be a fool to read this and try to describe a pathology. Frankly, I don't even know how well I'm using that word. But I've seen this more than once. At the cost of powerleveling a little, there was a time in my life where I was much more of a liberal progressive. To me, the fact that transpeople were "legitimate" and "valid" and deserving of advocacy and protection was self-evident. Then I spent time -- not directly inside of trans spaces, but adjacent to them. Close enough that I could really observe the way transpeople behave, especially amongst themselves.

I have seen every single form of depravity in the trans community, but this one's the worst, and I think it's more prevalent than any of them let on. (This excludes pedophilia, by the way. Troons just dogwhistle about Ageplay and they disguise their auto/pedophilia in fetish vernacular.) I made a post earlier in the thread about the troon who sits around collecting rent money while jacking off to pictures of Maid Marian being beheaded. I've seen troons say things like

And several times I've seen this sort of "livestock" fetish, troons referring to their own "disposability." Many of them sit there and opine about how they lost interest in their fetishes after they started HRT. Most of those people still complain ceaselessly that anything triggers their dysphoria, but they never have enough self-reflection to get it. Then they start progesterone and for real, I'm surprised there haven't been more murders. I know I said I'm not a trained psychologist, but I don't think you have to be to understand: these are deeply, deeply mentally unwell men.

Long story short that's how I ended up here. I dare anyone to sit in on a trans Discord server for an entire week and not come out the other end a bit of a transphobe.
