Honestly, these people are how they are right now mostly our of their own fault so it's hard for me to feel much other than pity for a few of these. They are a bunch of dudes who had a life that sucked and instead of working on their own flaws and improving their lot they convinced themselves that becoming a "woman" and having extensive life-altering surgeries were the answer to their problems. Imagine how much actual therapy, soul-searching and self-improvement one of them would have to do to become an average member of society if they were actually willing to chop off a part of their bodies to live a fantasy. I'd wager and say these people have been lost causes long before they trooned out, and becoming trans is just an easy path to feel like they're fixing their issues quickly when in reality they end up creating more.

And, of course, when shit goes horrible because it's more or less a certainty it will, they have to deny the bad so it doesn't turn into the biggest fuck-up they have commited in their lives. Look at how they act, they're basically hedonists focusing on pleasures like sex, unhealthy food and consumerism because they genuinely can't feel satisfaction otherwise. Someone who jacks off several times a day and is horny 24/7 is not only unhappy with their sex life, but literally doesn't have anything better to do than coom the entire fucking day.

Treat these as the cautionary tales they are. They may pretend to be living a happy healthy lifestyle, but anyone with eyes and a functioning brain can see past the fake smiles for the misery it truly is.

I don't think any one event ever would. Not even the Tranch failing or kicking him out. For these kinds of people maybe reality will slowly filter in, Kev's Twitter is at least 50% cope at this point, though who knows how long he could sustain that level of denial. Remember Tommy Tooter has been coping and denying reality for decades now, and I think that the present crop of troons who don't 41% will turn into him - perverted old men in wigs raging against the dying of the light, forever. When the tranch fails (it will eventually, regardless of any other issues it's financially unsustainable), he'll find some other troons to leech off of like ADF does. Eventually he'll find a way to qualify for subsidised housing or go on disability (he can still barely walk nearly 18 months after his surgery, that shit looks permanent to me) and find a hovel to become a gross hoarder in. He'll post on the internet until his body gives out from his filthy and unhealthy lifestyle. Then he'll die, forgotten and unmourned.

Your question got me thinking: what’s gonna happen to KevKev and “the family” once the tranch implodes? Kev’s mid-thirties, no job, no retirement plans, doesn’t own anything but toys, and is in an unstable relationship with like 5 other troons.

Where would he go? Would Pennywise jettison him once he’s no longer useful? Would he try to move in with wedge? He’s basically one step above a homeless shelter right now. He must live with an underlying anxiety about his future, and all the tweets and toys help to distract him from that. I will say that his mental parkour skills are impressive, though.

Maybe I am being too soft on the troons but in a lot of cases I genuinely think that the doctors involved should carry a great deal of blame.

In the US, at least as an outsider, it looks like a whole system has been built to move vast sums money from mentally ill men and/or their insurance companies into the pockets of these doctors without any real thought given to what happens after the mutilation has occurred. I also realise that some go abroad for surgery but this again seems to follow the pattern of taking advantage of mentally ill idiots, promising them the earth and then ghosting them once they are discharged from hospital. This wouldn't happen if the healthcare system wasn't offered as an opportunity for some doctors to make themselves filthy rich.

Whether all troons are verifiably mentally ill or not is a matter up for debate, but in most cases I think that they are and as such they need a level of protection from themselves. If you go to a medical professional and tell them you want to mutilate your body by cutting all of your fingers off then you should be treated with medication and therapy, not handed a knife. I'm not trying to absolve the troons of all blame, nor do I think this remotely excuses Kevin's disturbing habit of grooming other lunatics into having the same surgery as him.

I think at this point Kevin is like a late-stage junkie or alcoholic - except his drug of choice is troonin', coomin', and consoomin'.
The only thing that can get him out of it is him getting tired of his current lifestyle, admitting he made a mistake, and having an intrinsic, genuine desire to live differently.

Powerlevel, I have a friend who drank the DNC/TYT Koolaid on troons (bless his heart) and what finally turned his view around was a Local Transwoman that tried to kill his (the troon's, not my friend's) room mates. However I have some thoughts on this. From what I've observed Kevin relies on some sort of dumb luck to bail him out all the time. For example if he has a "medical bill" he can just turn to twitter and magically someone out there automatically pays it for him. He's never really had to give the concept of being in debt much stress or thought because he's always come out the other end unscathed for years without significant consequences.

I imagine his plans for old age are just to wing it and let it take care of itself in the end. He has a sort of ignorant happy go lucky mentality. As he never really had any significant savings always bouncing from being in the red to being in the black. If he had any concern at all for his future he's very good at hiding it as I've never seen him show any visible distress about finances apart from what he has to urgently pay in the short term.
