Boy, this kind of attitude is a particular pet peeve of mine.
I watch/listen to a fair amount of Christian podcasts, and a piece of advice about not engaging with certain types of atheist always struck me. The intellectually dishonest, childish atheist that isn't worth the time and energy to discuss anything with. Whether they agree or not, religion is profoundly impactful on the world, history, art, and culture, and has since the dawn of time. That's undeniable. To equate that with a childish 'well I might always believe in a
flying spaghetti monster' isn't worth anything. If you're not going to engage with me on the level the topic deserves to be, I'm not going to bother. I'm not dragging myself down into the sewer.

You already know the answer. When we look at obese people, we know, instinctually that this is not what a human is meant to look like. If a human looks like this something is wrong. That leads to death. Death. They are looking at death, and we don't like death. We don't want to be around death. Is that a satisfactory answer?
Sorry for the rant, I usually don't get that mad, but man this attitude is so irritating.
