GYARI did his stream thing about new VOMS members, here's a basic rundown for anyone interested.
-Monoe is never coming back
-Tomoshika is actually deer type
-No EN branch, Pika would murder them
-GYARI will design the avatars after he chooses the new members
-Only the Japanese residents can enter the audition
-Not much interest in males but they can still audition
-Experience would be nice but is not required
-Debuts around September

most vtuber companies seem more happy that you're pulling in an audience than no audience at all. People in this thread shit on NijiEN's numbers without thinking that ANYCOLOR knew they were a niche name in the west and were probably expecting higher than NijiID numbers. I'd say NijiEN succeeded in that regard and we'll probably see a NijiEN gen2 within the next few months.

It really is startling the difference between Japanese and non-JP companies. Most non-JP have really seemed to be "Yea, stream. Who gives a fuck".

Honestly, all 3 of the Niji-EN streamers are pretty good. I hope they can succeed eventually just as much as the Holo crew, because I'd love to see some friendly competition/cooperation between the two groups. Having both EN groups collab the way that Niji-JP and Holo-JP collab would be neat. But time will have to tell I think.

Maybe she finally figured out what doxing meant. It's been used a few times by her fans but I don't think it was ever explained to her.

Don't know as much but she went directly to /vt/ to ask them for tips on growing her channel and miraculously didn't have a breakdown, she then started pandering to them pretty hard, using /vt/ and general 4chan memes. I don't know if part of her gimmick is that she's a schizo or something but the little I've watched of her it sure seems like it.

I think Hololive does have a minimum sub threshold you're expected to meet, but no one, not even Anya, is in danger from it because it's something like 50k. Definitely no "cut the lowest performer stuff," thankfully, that's a sure way to create a toxic work environment.
