I had to go to Target yesterday and I always get pulled into that little aisle up front with the $5 junk. They had mugs with "ask me my pronouns" printed on them. There were also "they/them" pins. If your kid wears one of these pins they need to be smacked into next Tuesday.

Then where they have the seasonal stuff there were all these pride t-shirts. And again I thought about how much it sucks that the alphabets have stolen the rainbow making anyone who wears one look like a fag unless they are a six year old girl that likes MLP. Then again even these days.... (:_(

That's absolutely horrendous. As awful as MAPs are, their flag at least has more cohesive colors. Chartreuse, swampy turquoise, whatever that indistinct color in the middle is. Terrible.

I'm also an lgbkiwi (the b), but Pride is shit. I usually forget about it because I hate raucous festivals and garish color vomit everywhere. I'm LGB, I'm okay with that, but there's nothing special about it either. It is funny to see corporations throw out pride stuff. At the end of the day, the only suckers are people who actually choose to spend their cash on this stuff. No one is forcing them to get it. I know very few LGB people in real life, but I know a loooot of people who are super woke. Maybe I'll keep an eye on them and see if they buy any of these pandering products. Who knows, maybe I can take some amusement in "calling them out" for being terrible shallow allies. Not that I really car about that, but I can have some fun being an ass ;)

Edit: I’ve already seen two people on my social media come out as non binary today. It’s hilarious because they’re just...normal people. But everyone needs a pride label amiright?
