I know dear feeder doesn’t like the idea of a kev or tranch subforum, but I really think there’s a lot of stuff we could do with one.

I think so too, but strangely enough I also still miss the combined Kev/Tranch thread...the juxtaposition of Kev's lazy, coombrained crazed consumption with the antics of Philip, Paul etc who actually do things (however inept they are) was just strangely beautiful and perfectly highlighted the differing ways they are all suffering from

Not to mention, it's an absolute ballache if you miss a Kev/Tranch thread notification, only to find yourself having to wade through 30+ pages of craziness when you manually check the thread, and while you catch up, you get left behind on the other, lol

i think if anything, the existence of a tranch subforum would allow us to branch out and find a variety of new cows. Basically, by making one, we'd find a whole new hoard of retards and be able to profile them in a more novel and intuitive way. Even if the threads for all the orbiters end up relatively short, I think it would be a net gain in the laughter department, and it should replace the Wu forum. That's just my two cents though.

Yeah just take a look at the bigger subforums - one thread for every one of Tommy Tooter's toots, every shake of The Gunt, every single thing Yaniv does.
It would make a nice, mostly tidy thread into a jumbled, fractured mess.

This thread moves somewhat fast but doesn't generate nearly enough juice to fuel a whole subforum.

The Yaniv split was catastrophic. I soon lost interest because there was no way to distill the items about, you know, Jonathan Yaniv from all the chaff. The tranch/Kevin split sort-of stayed manoeuvrable but already sometimes shows too much overlap. Or people in the Kevin thread who are completely unaware of the Tranch thread.

If there are interesting sideshows that generate enough content, give them their own thread, even if it has a short half-life (like Ryan's).
