disagree. technology and industry themselves do not cause this decline, the key factor is how a society allows them to impact the social order.
a bunch of arab countries for example are keeping their traditional social order alive and well despite being highly wealthy and technologically advanced. saudi arabia is the biggest of them, but others do it similarly (UAE for example)

they key difference here seems to be that the force guarding their social framework (islam) is strong and unyielding, which is the polar opposite to the west where christianity has been cucked to death, a process that goes back even further than industrialisation (decline of religious influence in europe can be traced back to the french revolution, or arguably even to the reformation)
This isn't true at all. Both Saudi Arabia and the UAE have seen an unprecedented rise in divorce in the last decade, and a good number of the wealthier men in these countries couldn't care less about sexual propriety. You think Twitter troons are bad? You should read about what rich men in the Emirates pay Instagram models to do.

Human society has proven itself to be at large incapable of adapting quickly to the advancements of techonology, a good example of this is WW1 where the mentality of gentlemans warfare between civilized nations was completly at odds with the new and cruel reality of trench warfare, when the war started everyone just assumed that it would be just another imperalist war that might last a year or maybe a few months and in the end it became largest war and most brutal war up to that point, with dozens of millions of deaths and the face of Europe and the world would be forever changed.

Hemmingway's semi-autobiographical take on this aftermath helps explain what it must have felt like for the "Lost Generation" born out of the ashes of the old world disconnected from the past and the future. It is weird to think of life in the 1890's and how old Europe still was dominated by monarchs and empires with their old traditions and pageantry and then compare that to the dramatic transformation brought about by WWI when all of these romantic notions were dashed as heroic cavalry charges with bright uniforms and lances were mowed down by machine guns on muddy fields.

This 1920's era was really interesting for its Greco/Roman Art Deco look though I don't know what inspired that desire for a functional beauty of friezes and mosaics in symmetrical buildings with intricately designed elevator lifts. Maybe some desire for a past and a future with a spiritual reconnection to an idealized form of natural beauty.

Maybe this movement now is somewhat similar given how we still struggle to catch up with technological change and how it has changed our material conditions and some of the old idyllic relations of middle class American life.

Congregating in cafés located along the Boulevard Montparnasse to drink, talk and watch the crowds pass by, the Lost Generation was comprised of exiles who had spurned the pre-war values of love, romanticism, optimism, prosperity and hope that they had grown up believing in, all shattered by the war. As well as the glitter and potential of the Great Boom of the 1920's, which they now saw as American and money-based, and therefore corrupt and insincere. Unable to reconcile themselves with their past beliefs, and unwilling to accept those of their present mainstream society, the Lost Generation was left morally bankrupt and spiritually sterile, with only the fleeting pleasures of alcohol and sexual promiscuity as comfort.

Many Americans in Paris became bohemian writers and artists as a reactionary protest to the business- and consumer-based culture in the United States, their days spent lounging in cafés and their nights hopping from one meaningless relationship to the next. For the Lost Generation, love, hope and religion were foreign concepts after WWI, replaced by a world of sexual liberty and moral indifference. The lounging in the cafes and the promiscuity of the generation is very much connected with their traumas from the War. They are suffering from post-traumatic stress and are trying to deal with it.

"It worked in Star Trek" types would argue that when the post-scarcity "never having to work" society is achieved, people would simply pursue "self-improvement" instead of abusing the new system and allowing themselves to be consumed by pleasure. Meaning they clearly don't understand how people function because "muh human nature isn't real".

"self improvement" or "consumed by pleasure" - what a Sophie's choice.

WW1 fundamentally changed European society, after the war the general culture became more cynical and pessimistic, attitudes towards warfare and imperialism started to change since now people knew about the horrors happened in the battlefields and thus weren't too keen on fighting and possibly dying in a foreign land just so the leaders at top could paint the map in their color, this why the Allies tried to appease Hitler in the interwar period, if they declared war first they'd lose all their support and probably face mass unrest at home since men would refuse to be drafted to fight in a war they didn't believe in, even when the war begun after Hitler invaded Poland a lot of people, specially in Britain opposed participating in it, this is why in 1940 when France fell Hitler assumed that Britain would just peace out, the British public was demoralized and pessimistic about fighting, he didn't account for Churcil wich threw a rench on his plans.
But the main point is, after WW1 the general perseption of the world changed, it was a far more dark and cold place than before, war as a whole changed, the ideals of two chivarlous armies engaging face-to-face died in a muddied trench, the invention of the camara allowed the public to see what was going on, the streets were filled with crippled war veterans who were now homeless and mental asylums were stretched thin with all the sudden influx of patients with PTSD, some soldiers expressed what they saw not through words but through art, like paintings, those paintings showed the horrors of trench warfare and employed mostly just dark colors like black and grey wich was in sharp contrast to art from previous eras of war like the Napoleonic Wars wich used bright and lively colors across the entire painting.

the way he talks to his mom doesn't seem like he is threatened by her, in case of abuse, the vicim leaves the family and cut all the contacts but he still talks to his mom and yells at him like a child look at this after getting his IQ results he angrily messages his mom that she lied about his IQ and said it was high lmao and then his mom comes on stream and starts to calm him down saying "IQ does not measure intelligence but mental age does" lol psychology disagrees with them but okay, what a man child, does not want to get a job, yells at mom and did not went to uni in order to pursue YouTube when had 30k. HE IS THE ULTIMATE LOLCOW
In case you were wondering what Xander's IQ was...

I also find it funny that after he didn't get the IQ result that he wanted, he started playing a video discussing about how the IQ test doesn't matter.

When I called Xanderhal a midwit, I did not expect it to be so close. Scoring below average on an online IQ test in front of an audience has to sting. No wonder he rushed to cope.

Did Xanderhal not complain about his parents being mean to him? His mother tried to console him about being feeble-minded and has standard progressive views. What was his issue?

Xanderhal’s mother has the exact same manner of speaking as Aydin Paladin had in her talk with Destiny:
If you have never listened to this discussion, I highly recommend it. One of the funniest I ever heard.

So here's how Socialism Done Left been doing

I swear lefty brain rot ages people like 10 years. This guy is around 21 and already he looks like he's been NEETing for past 10 years. Vaush is another example of this
I am glad SDL has stuck around in this thread. He is an interesting character. He mentioned dieting to be more of a femboy, yet he looks fatter than before in these pictures.

Sarah Z has uploaded a new video (2 hours):
She looks worse and worse, seemingly getting fatter and with disastrous makeup:

The McElroys are weird to me, they're the most popular nobodies to exist. I literally had never heard of them until one random day and the person thought I was crazy for not knowing about the me, my brother and me podcast. Its apparently big enough to have gotten a TV show from it.

They're some of the queerest nu-males to exist. I was recommended their D&D podcast and I can't understand why anyone likes them. Not only are they themselves boring IRL, but their adventure game is incredibly cringey. None of them can improvise at all, so they keep "yes, and..."-ing the worst most inane bullshit and then cracking up about it.

Does anyone even know why they're being canceled?

Xanderhal uses µTorrent, in 2021. He really is the biggest retard in breadtube (a challenging feat) and the most normie zoomer. I forgot µTorrent existed since everyone I know moved to deluge/qbittorent.

It's great that my favorite retard is reuploading, but his editor isn't doing much but centering the video on his face. There's no audio different, just Xanderhal closeups.

These arabs going back and forth calling each other British and Zionist agents saying the only thing that makes you Arab is your big nose. This guy is really strange denies the Uighur genocide and rants like a lunatic on every stream denouncing anglos and praising China. Literally calls people who don’t agree with him Mossad.

Literally this between two Arabs

Edit: what is this Infrared channel? I feel the so called community of his are probably all trolls egging him on in his ridiculous streams. I can’t understand what he is for besides some vague authoritarian tankie stance and compulsively getting in name calling arguments. It reminds me of when Terry Davis went off on someone and called them the SS of the atheists although Terry was smart enough to avoid getting in tard fights.
