Here is a command line based setup to timeshift Trovo when a person goes live, in particular the killstream. Instructions for windows users, linux users can figure things out on their own, Only use if it is legal in where you live to record livestreams. Since this is accessing the video directly, unlike screencapture, chat won't be included, but video quality will be higher, you can practically see the gunt in 3d.
Feel free to post a better way. Credit goes to several sources which I forget:

1. Install Streamlink
2. Unzip and install the unofficial streamlink plugin trovo.py to %APPDATA%\streamlink\plugins (goto %APPDATA% and create the subdirectories if you need).
3. Create a batchfile called killstream.bat and put the following in it:

streamlink.exe --http-no-ssl-verify --retry-streams 122 --retry-open 2 --http-stream-timeout 30 --http-timeout 30 -o "#Killstream %date:~-10,2%-%date:~-7,2%-%date:~-4,4%_%time:~0,2%-%time:~3,2%-%time:~6,2%.mpegts" "https://trovo.live/theralphretort" 720p,origin,best,src

Modify if you want 1080p instead of 720p and to point to where streamlink is installed. If you monitoring multiple trovo users you may need to set the retry-streams number to a higher number to prevent server issues.

4. Run as needed or put it a shortcut to the batch file in your startup shortcuts

5. Optional install ffmpeg and run after the stream is downloaded: ffmpeg -i "#killstream whatever the name.mpegts" -c copy "#killstream whatever the name.mkv"
which will make it seek better , can also use mp4 instead of mkv.

6. Optional upload commentated and compliant with fair use critiqued clips to bitchute, odysee , megaupload , youtube, etc
