Honestly I sometimes wonder if Eldena Doubleca5t is a satire account. When I watched his "you might be a transbian" video my first thought was "no fucking way this guy is for real." He's like god somehow made every single MTF stereotype into one person. He contains entire trooniverses.

Not necessarily. Weebs have a concept called ‘gap moe’, referring to how a discrepancy between expected and actual may be very cute. For example, when a little kid tries to talk like a professor, that is cute. Or, when a scary burly man knits mittens, that is cute.

Nonbinaries and genderqueers like Alok Vaid-Menon are a whole another issue. Progressive binary transgenders do not mind having them around under the ‘trans’ umbrella and likely do not feel as if they are worsening the image of binary MtFs and FtMs.

This is not the point at all. Contra is nowhere close to passing as cis, sure.

But some are: short skinny men with soft faces who happen to be early transitioners do exist. Take my word for it. Think Hunter Schafer, the Sense8 one, other high fashion troons. Some who just look a little weird, or totally sound like gay guys, but if they shut up and are dressed they do pass . It's not many but it's not nobody.

Weither you pass as a cis woman or you pass as a "i know something's up but i don't know what so i am gonna flip a coin and go with Miss" are two different things but it's a talk for another day.

But Contra for exemple tries: The surgeries, hair removal, choice of clothing, voice training... it's work. It's painfull, it takes time, ressources... And then you have others who just don't try and don't plan to ever try . It's two very different ways ofgoing at it. Some want to assimilate, some just want to look everyday like they are about to Do The Time Wrap Agaaain. Yes i wouldn't be surprised if there was conflict bubbling under the surface between the two.

Alok does make transwomen look bad, and some are lucid enough to see it. He looks like a dude in lipstick who had to dressed himself by scavenging an exploded costume department and speaks like he is begging to be put on a list.

They won't. They'll only push themselves further into their spaces. They already want gender neutral bathrooms, or to be let into women's bathrooms. They keep saying "trans women are women" all the time.
Perhaps at some point they'll push too far and the pendulum swings back and hits them right in their fucking faces. A few states in the US have introduced legislation against trannyfication of kids, so there's that at least.

I don't really think this is quite true. Many, quite probably the majority of troons (i.e. MtFs) very much do want women's bathrooms/facilities. You've got to remember that a very large number of troons sacralize anything and everything that is somehow unique to women. Period blood is ambrosia, the toilet water is drawn from the pools of Mount Olympus, moderating /r/abortion is achieving union with The Divine etc. etc.

It's probably the real reason that those "Man/Woman/Whatever!" signs are considered transphobia -- in the ternary system they realize that they'd be classed as "Whatever" at best. Of course, they claim something else, but flippancy or w/e wrt. gender wouldn't induce opposition.

In a sense, the greatest hate crime possible is to render 'gender identity' inexpressible, because then they can't even construct themselves as some victim-hero of transphobic oppressions -- there's a reason that in hell no one can hear you scream; inarticulacy is a torture all of its own.

I actually believe it could be higher than 10x and even then that undersells the correlation because higher autistic traits seem to predict trooning out even below the threshold of an autism diagnosis.

10x would imply that only ~20% of troons were autistic, but when we look at clinical populations where they screen for autism, e.g. certain child gender clinics, they return 50% and in one case (Perth, Australia) up to 70%. I also think it's important to point out that even if 10x were right, it'd probably only be right if you include hispanic/black troons who are obviously much gayer and consequently less autistic thus making 10x low-ball the influence of autism in whites.

I know nothing much about weebs, but the discrepancy between expected and actual I was referring to is not surprising things that still remain normal.
