Second family member who is fully vaccinated (Moderna) just tested positive for covid. She's almost 80 (and pretty healthy for her age), so if she stays out of hospital then maybe the vaccine provided some protection -- but it definitely won't stop you from getting it. No fever, but she has chills and a cough. She was told she didn't have the bad kind (whatever that means -- I assume no India or Vietnam variant). Wasn't prescribed any meds -- just take tylenol as needed. She was also told that she could still take her daily walk in the neighborhood if she felt up to it, she would just need to wear a mask. That advice seemed a little odd. Would expect that they would tell her to avoid walking around the neighborhood.

I'd assume they mean she's in the class of people who only have mild symptoms and not much else. That was my first round with Covid and it was little more than an irritating flu.

I've been thinking about the rumor of July 1st being the date that the pandemic will be declared over and of course it makes sense since it will be when people start taking their booster shots after getting it back in December/January at the earliest and only need 1 instead of 2 and they will have to pay for the full retail price since it's declared over. Two hours ago I got the second part of the Pfizer vaccine.

So far my arm's kinda sore and I'm a little woozy but that could be because I need lunch.

Edit - It's now been about 7 1/2 hours since the vaccine. My arm feels like it's been punched and I'm tired as hell even after food and a nap. Granted, it's been a gray rainy day and those always make me feel blah. I demand to feel better, I have stuff to do.

Edit 2 - It's been almost 10 hours since vaccine. All my joints hurt. Fingers, wrists, elbows, neck, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles. Fatigue is real and in da house. Also I cannot stop eating HUGE meals, one right after another. My stomach hates me and my instinct is still pointing me toward the kitchen. WTF. This blows.

Edit 3 - 16 hours since vaccine. Went to bed a little early because I felt bad. Ended up tossing and turning and feeling like I was freezing even though I had plenty of cover and the house isn't cold. Also pinprick-like stabby feelings in random places, usually legs. Finally got up to see about myself and not only am I tired and everything is creaky and hurts but I have a fever of 101.6. Not the worst thing in the world but it is inconveniencing me so I complain. Gonna have some Tylenol and go back to bed.

Edit 4 - an hour since last update. I still feel the same except now I'm overheating instead of cold, I'm really hungry and it feels like an ice pick migraine is trying to start. This sucks.

Edit 5 - 23 hours since vaccine. I woke up feeling like my shoulders and hip joints were frozen. There are SO many muscle, tendon and joint pains but I guess I expected that after all the tossing, turning and shivering I was doing last night. Had a fever of 100.4, took some ibuprofin. I'm hungry but my stomach isn't awake yet. The last time I was craving such vast quantities of heavy food was after I'd had a surgery to remove a tumor.

Edit 6 - 33 hours since vaccination. After a nap and a hot shower I felt a little better but still stiff and achy. Random fatigue hits out of nowhere. No matter how much I eat I still feel like I need more. My temperature as of a few minutes ago was 98.9. I'm doomed.

Edit 7 - 36 hours after vaccine. I still feel achy and blah, like I'm coming down with something or if I've overworked myself. Like if I'd just moved house or attended a 3-day convention with lots of cosplay wardrobe changes. Temperature is 99.3 so I'll probably take some more Tylenol or Ibuprofin before bed.

Edit 8 - 48 hours since vaccination. Woke up this morning feeling like I usually do. Not sure I trust it. Temperature 98.0. I am waiting for a limb to fall off or superpowers to manifest.

Edit 9 - 3 days since vaccination. I think I might survive it. Not sure if recommend or no.

At what point do weird body things stop being from the vaccine and just go back to being normal human decomposition?
Earlier I started losing feeling in my feet even though I could see no reason for it, and moving around didn't help. Eventually it went away but then when I stood up it felt like all the liquid in my body sort of... shifted? I guess. I mean, I'm used to being decrepit but not in this way.

I expect that Fauci emails are going to result in some massive pushback. I've not read all of them (of course, there are over 800) but there's a lot of stuff that I don't think is outright damning but is definitely questionable in a big way. This further is something to think on since Fauci was sort of a pillar in the anti-Trump movement, and that group is still wanting to prop Trump up.

The mask stuff just repeats decades worth of medical opinion on their efficacy at stopping viral transmission i.e. surgical masks are useless and cloth ones laughable. Mask mandates were brought in when it was perceived that governments were losing control of the infection curve, fuelled by a hysterical media and they needed to demonstrate they were doing something, anything. In other words they were a psychological prop and have since become a public sign that "you're not a Republican" eg a bug person.

What's way more interesting are the unsolicited emails he was receiving from Chinamen telling him how the CCP was lying about the coof and that millions were 'literally dying RIGHT NOW!" in China. An obvious disinformation campaign by the CCP attempting to trick the US to follow their disastrous lockdown policies. Was he taking these emails seriously? Were they informing the advice he was feeding to Trump?

Get her a pulse oximeter, they're a few bucks on Ebay or grab one from any pharmacy. Tell her to keep a diary of her oxygen saturations a few times a day and write it in a diary. If it drops below 94% consistently go to the ER as she'll need supplemental oxygen. Ask her physician to prescribe her a low dose steroid inhaler.

Fresh air is good for her but she is 100% infectious if she has active symptoms so maybe she should avoid visiting nursing homes and stay away from fat people.

There are no bad or good variants, Covid is Covid. The reason for the advice she's getting is because she's been vaccinated and the firmware update Branch Covidian doctors have recently received has informed them that vaccinated people aren't infectious and won't end up in hospital, neither of which is true. BTW she won't be counted in the official Covid numbers as she's been vaccinated.

- China is 'lying' about the death numbers. There are mass burials going on, people stacked like cordwood in hospital wards, folks literally dropping dead in the streets
- This was supported by 'whistle-blowers' with horror stories who somehow were allowed to post on Twitter and Facebook but went nowhere near the Chinese internet
- Lots of viral videos of people randomly collapsing in the streets, terrible videos from inside hospitals, 'scientific studies' showing massive rise in sulphur emissions over Wuhan, supposedly from all the decomposing bodies.
- Lastly endless opinion pieces from pay to play journalists and China owned politicians making pronouncements that lockdowns work, Covid is gone from China after a few weeks, we need to do the same.

We've been living with Covid for nearly 18 months. Ever see a single news report anywhere on the planet of a random person dropping dead from Covid since then? How about all those hospital wards and mass burials? No?

The whole thing was an intelligence run campaign, and a very successful one.

In a report submitted today to the Israeli Ministry of Health, they conclude that between one in 3000 and one in 6000 men ages 16 to 24 who received the vaccine developed the rare condition. But most cases were mild and resolved within a few weeks, which is typical for myocarditis. “I can’t imagine it’s going to be anything that would cause medical people to say we shouldn’t vaccinate kids,” says Douglas Diekema, a pediatrician and bioethicist at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Douglas is a "bioethicist", he thinks long and hard about this stuff. Douglas makes a living pronouncing on the risks of medical treatments compared to the risks of people suffering bad outcomes from illness.

Risk of anyone under 25 getting severely unwell or dying from Covid-19? A number so low it's a statistical zero.

A 1 in 3000 chance you can develop an inflammatory heart, but not to worry it's 'harmless' and it shouldn't stop us injecting newborns with the coof juice.

What we can expect is that there will be more and more surprising and unexpected illnesses from the vaccines. That they will be downplayed by politicians, big pharma and the medical establishment until such time as the scandal becomes so big this won't be possible. I give it a year.
