There’s no BLM riots and heavy lockdowns at the moment to take away from the gays this year, so everything is puking rainbows in order to make a few easy bucks off of people. They’re probably making up from last year. Not having an as in-your-face Pride month last year was one of the few good things that happened, though the BLM pandering was arguably just as annoying.

I would've loved to see how BLM respond to the attention being on Pride Month.

I wonder how black and brown people feel about being put in the same category as gays and troons? If I were black, I’d be really annoyed that they placed the black identity alongside troons because I wouldn’t want to be associated with troons.

I still remember when "family friendly" didn't mean homosexuality and transgender in America. Back in those days, homosexuality was censored out of anime like Sailor Moon. And of course, Di$ney still didn't really let any homosexuality or transgenderism in the major Di$ney releases, like A Bug's Life or Mulan.

I clicked on the Google Doodle today, and it was about some astronomer who also fought for gay rights. That's all right by itself, but I was also treated to a spritzing of WTF Pride flag doodles when I clicked the link. What normal person knows what all of these things mean? Also appearing was the ugly rainbow flag redesign, which seems to have completely usurped the old one.

If there's this much stuff being shat pushed out in the first day or two of June, it makes me wonder what the trajectory of the rest of the month will be. Are companies throwing out products and changing their pfps to rainbows at the start and then being lazy the rest of the month? Will it only ramp up?
