Freud was a fraud who made stuff up so that rich people would keep getting therapy from him. He did contribute one thing to psychology which is talk therapy but he was also very much into pseudoscience and cocaine.

So I finally got around to looking into this. I went through Jazz's entire TikTok profile and could only find a few videos with Ari in them at all, and not a single one is a "Jazz and Ari" video like the "Sander and Jazz" videos. The only ones with Ari in them are "family" videos.

The only reason people can dismiss freud is because his good ideas are now all taken for granted. People talk about their subconscious like it is obvious, but it wasn't until freud came up with the idea of it and shared that with the world. The idea that you can have motivations that are not known to the whole of you is another thing that people simply assume now but didn't before. He was the guy who identified and popularized such ideas and it revolutionized the way people conceived of themselves and others. It seems like his framework for the human mind was essential to have in order for other schools of thought to emerge in opposition to it. Before that the topic was a huge jumbled mess.

Anyway. I checked jazz's social media today to see if he was crying about desantis signing the bill to keep biological males out of girl's sports in florida, but saw nothing.

So, according to that article, Harvard is still happening (nope) and they’re going to do another season of I am Jazz (hmmm doubt).

Added to the fact that Jazz looks like a whale in a tie-dye mumu (don’t Variety have access to stylists?!) rather than a glitter and sparkles glowing advertisement for “trans youth”, I suspect Jazz’s 15 minutes are just about up.

Except, you know... Being oneself does not involve hormonal and physical alterations. Surgery and puberty blockers counts as modification of oneself, but who am I kidding. The trans community will definitely perform an award-worthy mental gymnastics for that
