Was just going to ask the same thing, was Calli just out of it or was the stream experiencing serious technical issues? Other than hot mic moments I'm not familiar with Calli's, apparently common, technical issues.

Not like last time so i was wondering why she privated it, she swapped three games (River city because it was not working, Cuphead but it lagged like hell then they went to Phasmo) to fill the time but Phasmophobia was going so well that i did not even notice anything else besides that, the main problem is that she did not do research about how she could play River city with Gura and she really REALLY need to change her isp, but because she is moving she throwed that idea to the backburner

I think she took it bad because some idiots complained on Twitter but she is not the bird is still inusual, i was joking that the real reason of the privating is that she and Gura were singing in joke baby one more time of Britney spear

Also for some reason Roboco has a horn now like Venom Snake, she literally passed from Deus Ex Mankind Divided to Drakengard

Calli in particular I've noticed is one who flies by the seat of her pants and doesn't always do the needed testing to make sure a game will work ahead of time. Something made even worse by time zone/lag difference. Most of the time it's fine, but this one appears to have bit her.

From what I can gather, River City Girls doesn't have native online multiplayer, so you have to use Parsec (separate permissions). Apparently the lag for Gura doing remote play or whatever they tried was 1-1.5 seconds, which is a death sentence in something like Cuphead. And I don't know what happened with Phasmo exactly.

Huh.....those are....actually really fair criticisms. What fucking dimension is this? The second image, point 3 especially is typically my biggest complaint with Calli.

I was actually in the middle of watching it when it abruptly stopped. Tuned in earlier while it was live and heard them talking about the Hunter game, so I was actually interested in hearing what they had to say, but was busy at the moment.

I do admit that I skipped past the cuphead stuff and about twenty minutes of them trying to get Phasmo working, but once Phasmo actually started, I thought it was going fairly well. Something about Gura's voice today was especially soothing on the ears, not sure what though. Don't watch her too much normally.

Another collab with Gura, another person on the receiving end of an autistic bitchfit.

Not to paint with broad strokes, but massive essay criticisms like those posted above don't seem to be how Dead Beats operate. They know Calli is scuffed and they KNOW her internet/mental health/living situation. I don't think they'd magically use this stream to launch their complaints. It's feels bad faith.

I'm not saying mental health makes Calli above criticism, but I find it a liiiiittle suspicious that they've waited for the Gura stream to suddenly act like this.

In this case where I wasn't present, I don't know how the situation went down.

But the process of 'Another streamer is directly or indirectly responsible for lowering the quality of Gura's stream/gameplay' leading to 'Chumbuds get angry and lash out at said other streamer' is not an uncommon pattern with her. The most notable two being Iofi (for not translating everything), and Roboco (who hosted the Amogus collab she got salty in). In this case Calli's bad internet causing Gura to have input lag in a game like Cuphead feels pretty consistent with what has sparked autistic screeching in the past.

Skimmed some of the stuff regarding the scuffed Calli and Gura collab. Regardless of who you want to blame for them getting shit (Chumbuds, deadbeats, or both) it does suck that all this happened just the day after she came back. I wasn't there for the livestream but I can tell she got hate, probably for than needed.

Seems like no satisfactory answer come by, here and Twitter. Really want to know what Calli was like that prompted her apology and privating the stream. Judging by her condition my guess is that Calli was genuinely angry and being toxic.

Folks at Hololive, Nijisanji, and I think some others too already stated that they're not competing each other. Anime fandom has enough precedent for this one, and it's actually even worse since VTubers tend to really tied with real people behind them.
