Now...I could make a thread on just the Wow Community itself but we all know what to expect from that. Basically replace the LoL thread name with WoW and its the same effect. But WoW has something just as autistic as the hardcore fanbase. And that its RP community.

The issues with this are extremely complex. Most of the RP drama takes place on the servers Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord. But Moon Guard especially. For your viewing pleasure let me link you these two threads

What the hell is this about?! I don't know! Apparently it shifts from men playing women characters, to trannys, to who can 360 no scope the bestest. This autism enraged shit posting has two sides. One side are the fedora wearing nerds who think SJWS are ruining WoW and the other side is SJWs who think fedora wearing nerds are ruining WoW.

What can make this worse? Adding Tumblr to equation. Like said while the forums are a mix of shit, Tumblr of course houses some of the more SJWish members. What do they do? Make very long call out posts of other members who do not so nice things, make very long call out posts of people who wanted to cyber sex with them and just bitch and bitch about players.

Its generally things like this
Or this
Or people bitching about why you shouldn't make fun of other people's special snowflake characters.

As for the other server, Wyrmrest Accord? I got nothing. Its mostly the same thing but with different people and you can search their tag if you wanna try to find truly autistic

The first WoW player I ever met in real life was like 10 years ago. I was a kid and my best friend's mom was a WoW addict. One day she just stopped brewing homebrew and participating in my friend's events and started playing World of Warcraft. She gained weight and you never saw her except when she went outside in her moomoo to get the mail. Her husband divorced her for her bisexual sister and she retained custody of the kids. Every week he'd come over to check on them and cut the lawn.

You bastards, Blizzard.

Ah Roleplayers. Even on shitty forums and chat IRCs there is a universal disease of Mary Sue and the Autism. I never did partake in any roleplay in WoW but I know for a fact in any community the second you have an extremely hot character and you sit down in a bar you will be bombarded with open posts.

The RP scene in SWTOR is also pretty testy too, like my Juggy was levelling up in a PvPRP sever and a Repub got mad at me when he got attacked and started to RP out a revenge monologue and followed me around like a lost pet trying to finish it even though I flat out ignored it.

Also it was fun rocking up somewhere and going "So uh hows the war" and everyone would automatically stop attacking you so they can RP their little snowflakes.

Now its all fat men and women pretending to be beautiful women under the label of being trans. Some people on these servers think because they play opposite gender characters in a video game they are legit trans IRL.

I told you guys when my community in Elder Scrolls Online all rolled up new sexy characters to make money in the ERP scene, right?
When someone got 5k for just saying some sweet words everyone jumped on the sex train for some easy money - apparently they reached their financing goal for their next building overnight, in comparison than the expected two days raiding and grinding.

Only autism and Mountain Dew Code Red can provide the energy to multibox effectively, making a sort of symbiotic union between autists and this game.
That being said, WoW went entirely to shit after the Mists of Pandaria expansion came out and the furries could roam free.

I looked around and got some new stuff today. First lets talk about the Failzeroth thing thats going on. In a battle of spergs, there are two groups named failzeroth. One is on Facebook and they constantly sperg about people not playing pretend right. Then the Failzeroth group was made on tumblr to counter act them by being just as autistic by whining how their self insert mary sue is perfectly ok.

Heres a link to the tumblr blog: http://failzeroth.tumblr.com/
The FB group is closed atm and you have to join to see their posts. You can search for it if you want and try to join if you wanna see their sperging over how to play house

The next person makes up about 50% of the tag on Tumblr if you look through it. Terminalpleasure is a player that decided anyone who doesnt like him/her/it is a racist, transphobe etc etc. You know typical sjw stuff. I think they are banned from the official forums but can still grab screenshots and post them on tumblr, adding whatever stupid commentary they feel like. They mostly grab screens and take em out of context, while screaming the tumblr shit we all know and love. While they may have some valid points about some of the other nerds, if your posts make up a good chunk of a tag, your most likely as autistic as the dudebros your hate.

Heres their tumblr: http://terminalpleasure.tumblr.com/

I was following Wildstar, the latest failed attempt to cash in on nostalgia for vanilla WoW. Preorders allowed users to reserve names. The day reservations were open the servers were slammed and it was next to impossible to actually reserve names. This wreaked havoc in the roleplaying community as cancellations were threatened because players couldn't reserve names like Blackdark or whatever for their original characters. I wish I could find an archive of the forum. At least one thread got derailed into a rape discussion by the third page.

I've never played WoW, but it must be a wonderful place.

There was a blog I used to read called "The Roleplayer's Lament" that documented terrible WoW RP characters and situations. Even if you weren't into WoW it was a pretty hilarious read. It went offline two years ago or so. I kinda miss it.

Back during the Burning Crusade era, a woman apparently prostituted to get enough money to buy epic flying, and proceeded to boast about that it online. Sadly, I don't have any links to that statement.

This is actually pretty common. A gold sink comes out and instead of doing quests or marketplace to sell gold, people will actually offer to have cybersex for gold. And it works. I dont know whats sadder, the people who do it or the people who actually pay for it.
