I think the reason why Mask is so disliked is because a clip that was played over stream got memed on Tik Tok before it was released, so there was already an audience of people that knew that Mask was a bad song. I personally think Mask sounds a bit better than Roadtrip, Roadtrip is such a terrible song.

For me personally, I suffered and listened to the songs out of morbid curiosity (on lyric reupload videos because i refuse to give views to Dream), I honestly think Roadtrip sounds better than mask. Possibly because another person is heavily credited in production.
The lyrics aren't all "guys, relatable am i right? depression uwu" and the auto tune hides Dream's out of tune singing. Not saying that off key singing is "bad" or anything, but it depends on the song for me. Mask is absolutely grating on my ears and I can't sit through it because the vocals and the pandering lyrics, but I can listen to Roadtrip and be like "Ok, generic pop song, nothing special."

That's just my own personal take, but I can understand why Mask is hated more.

I think the most obvious thing is that Mask had so much more public advertisement by the fan base, at least from what I saw on Twitter. People in his community sucked his dick over it, claiming how it got them to be more positive (I’m all for positive motivation, but auto tune pop Big Time Rush did better nearly a decade before done by a prideful Minecraft cheater ain’t it).

Then, with that publicity came a bunch of backlash even within his own fanbase due to 1, the traced art, 2, the lyrics clearly meant to pander eerily simmilar in the way that Austin Jones did years and years prior, and just. Look, it sounds really bad. It’s not great. It’s not even tolerable. I can’t even call it grating as much as it is jarringlly out of touch and feels like a parody from a year gone by. It doesn’t feel written by a human being. This feels like something Filthy Frank would write to make fun of these people.

Something I've always wondered is where these people get all the shit they have from. There's a photo on that thread that supposedly is with Karl Jacobs, Sapnap, and Dream.

Since we can't see the full photo it's hard to be 100% sure, but there's a photo that looks almost exactly like that one with just Karl and Sapnap.

They probably just edited the photo they have of dream onto the photo of karl & sapnap. Stans seem to like doing shit like that a lot. Also >"Is there an app you can use to skinnify his face" kek does this confirm the chubby clayton theories?

I am curious to know how they got their hands on dream's photos before we did though (assuming they aren't trolling). It seemed like people here literally scoured the internet in search of them, and not even rooted managed to do it.

The 3 of them in one pic is obviously a lie but the chubbiness I'm wondering if it's about suspected kid clayton and they want to try to edit into what they expect current Clayton looks like.

That could be it. But in the screenshots, they censored half the photos using the caption "Dream as a kid" and the other half with "Photo of Dream". Idk i could be looking too much into it but doesn't this sorta insinuate that they have a photo of both dream as a kid and him now?

I did some digging on that thread. Most of the people on the list of Twitter accounts changed their usernames (or deactivated possibly).

The person who intrigued me the most is @wotsthisthen. Their account is private, but they have a CuriousCat link in their bio. (Archive). They seem to lurk the thread.

I don't know what they're talking about, maybe someone else can find more info? They also said they used Rooted's dox to find more info, maybe there's something we're missing. If I find anything else I'll either post it or edit this post.

This basically confirms that the Karl Jacobs and Sapnap photo with him is fake, or at least that this person didn't see it.

Tbf though the ranboo dox wasn't able to gain much traction either especially considering how (after digging around online a bit) this wasn't even the first time his info was released. It seems that he's been doxed multiple times on tumblr and twitter long before we even brought it up here. I do agree that it's strange no one here has found the face leak yet (unless one of you is withholding information again)
I also took a look at one of their accounts and a few of them are hinting at the sapnap grooming thing again. Maybe there really is something behind that. Kek whoever said that the mcyt fandom was going to go off with a bang I hope you're enjoying yourself rn.
