It was really just the drugs; that, and dating desperate sluts that solely chase any vulnerable e-celeb who has never found or dated girls offline before. I think ODing on an amalgam of drugs is more likely, and Riley is the one who ultimately gets slapped with the second-degree murder charge cause he'd be too negligent (and possibly too drugged out himself) to call an ambulance.
