This black and brown strip is so...pointless on all these flags. Being black or not white is not a sexuality. Neither is trans. Neither is being non binary or whatever the fuck.

How did we get to this point? Do words mean nothing anymore? Are we circling the drain as a society? I just want off this wild ride.

If anything, it's insulting to black and brown gays because it implies that they weren't welcome in the rainbow before, and now need their own extra strips to accommodate them.

Converse has long been a fag brand even before the trend to put pride flags all over so is no surprise. I remember when i was a teenager converse shoes and purple or black and white checkered accesories meant a girl was signaling she was lesbian. There was a shopping mall in my city that was a popular gay hotspot for some reason and it like a convention of converse fans on fridays.

Stephen Hillenburg said something around the lines of that all the Spongebob characters are asexual which doesn't make too much sense for some of them but SpongeBob I can see.

He also said he didn't want any spinoffs and we know how that went so Nickelodeon doesn't give a shit about what he said either way.

People then spun it as "normalizing gayness," now are spinning it into "pride representation," but Hillenburg was only stating facts.
