But an email to that address and numerous others, including Peter Daszak’s, requesting that Manual, as well as other financial information, was not returned. Neither were repeated voicemails. Only buried under their “Privacy Policy,” under a section titled “EcoHealth Alliance Policy Regarding Conflict of Interest in Research,” does the EcoHealth Alliance concede it is the “recipient of various grant awards from federal agencies including the National Institute of Health, the National Science Foundation, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the US Agency for International Development and the Department of Defense.”

Even this listing is deceptive. It obscures that its two largest funders are the Pentagon and the State Department (USAID); whereas the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which accounts for a minuscule $74,487, comes before either.

Meticulous investigation of US government databases reveals that Pentagon funding for the EcoHealth Alliance from 2013 to 2020, including contracts, grants and subcontracts, was just under $39 million. Most, $34.6 million, was from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), which is a branch of the DOD which states it is tasked to “counter and deter weapons of mass destruction and improvised threat networks.” Most of the remaining money to EHA was from USAID (State Dept.), comprising at least $64,700,000 (1). These two sources thus total over $103 million. (See Fig).

The amount contributed by the NIH/NIAID is actually dwarfed by what EcoHealth Alliance got from the DTRA and USAID.

Most police and fire stations actually don't help with car seats any more because of budgeting cutbacks and the fact that so few people would use that particular resource. However MOST hospitals do have parenting classes these days, including one where they make sure the car seat is installed correctly before you give birth. Regardless, there are resources to help with car seats and I do agree that the woman is probably too stupid to rear children.

Noticed the radio silence about India. From non stop coverage about it being a literal hell on Earth with gazillions of Panjeet's getting deaded to no mention whatsoever.

The scary delta variant is supposedly twice as infectious as the original coof bug, but their case numbers are collapsing? They're currently reporting 86,000 cases per day, which adjusted for population would be 20,000 in the US or around 4,000 in the UK.

The US is currently reporting 13,000 cases per day and the UK 3,000.

TLDR India is currently no worst off than either the US or the UK. India has fully vaccinated 3.3% of it's population compared to the US and the UK at 42%. Has Ivermectin helped? I would say so, but more likely the virus has run through it's population, just like it did everywhere else, and they've achieved suppression through herd immunity, again just like we did back in January.

The real story coming out of India is that there never was a need for mass vaccination in countries that suffered major outbreaks.

Hilariously, given the recent uptick in case numbers in Europe and the US, muh vaccines seem to be doing zero parts of fuck all to stop transmission.

Now I don't think they want to discuss issues such as herd immunity from being infected. Even though this literally makes the vaccine roll outs less effective when you're vaccinated people who have had the virus.

They don't want to report a country like India has had so many actual cases, without a corresponding avalanche of dead people. As in India, the chances of dying from COVID would be less than in a rich western country. Which is more likely to keep fat, unhealthy, old and sick people, ie potential victims of COVID alive.

So where else are the figures off? What really would be the global total? There's an investment by many to try and paint the USA as somehow failing worse than anywhere else.
