Someone just asked him before if he has any interest in investing on some stocks some time. He said that he's still massively in debt and doesn't know if he'd ever get around to doing that.

Huhh? Phil wdym? I thought that after your bankruptcy you shouldn't have to worry about that anymore?

Is it those mysterious back taxes you speak of?

To elaborate on this, Phil said taxes in particular were the problem.
Phil says he can't save or invest because when you're in debt with taxes, you can't save anything. It's just not possible, you just have to get by, which is what he is doing.

$12k monthly could pay off his taxes in a matter of months (while covering his documented expenses). He admitted he doesn't pay proper installments quarterly as organized by his tax guy, and he is on a fixed payment plan for his back taxes. It's the same as his car payment - it's a fixed amount you can budget for.
He phrased this as his back taxes are paid the way he should have been fucked - every free cent over a fixed budget is immediately taken from him and funneled to what he owes. That is not what happened. But he wants us to believe that is what happened.

Doing them at home is one of the things that made pilates popular. They are good for core strength... maybe Phil should consider doing them since he said anyone could do them. But I guess he was wrong and not everyone can do them...

What in the literal fuck is that supposed to mean? Does he think the devs accidentally made a Roguelike? Or that it was some sort of last minute choice to pad the game's length? Seriously what the fuck does this sentence mean?

EDIT: He's still whining over Returnal (and that $70 price tag!!!)
