The absolute rrat is that while Coco retires from streaming, she'll not retire from Hololive.

She's being relegates to somethings back office, likely Manager, like what she was originally applied for.

Still tho, she still makes the biggest impact to Hololive to this day. Respect her please :'(

IMO it was always going to be tough to resolve the whole "Taiwan" thing without losing both sides of the whole thing thanks to the awful way Cover handled it initially.

I don't think the bugs "won" - I think it's just unfortunate combination of how Cover initially reacted all the way up till now.

Asacoco was allowed a short run post-suspension. But then Coco chose or was required to do dance and singing lessons for that Hololive show which rather limited what she could do without putting health at risk. She seemed really dedicated to it however.

But yeah, Coco's channel was also not only having spam issues but a lot of regulars also blocked for reasons not really understood. Plus she knew collabing with people might draw antis to them too. It had eased off, but likely still takes a toll.

Admittedly I dropped off seeing much Coco content for a while as meme review got a little old and most of her stuff seemed to be japanese only. Then I saw that clip from a few months back where she mentioned that she wanted to collab with Hololive EN but indicated that it was being blocked. This might also explain why Calli was being cautious on her meme review, not wanting to rock the boat too much more and cause Coco any further trouble.

My personal rrat: Coco was getting more and more restrictions from Management which were stopping the whole thing being any fun. She's only being allowed to collab outside JP holomem now because she threatened to quit and it was up in the air till today. Maybe today was a planned decision day, or something happened that broke the final straw in her mind. Still sad.

I was really looking forward to an Amelia/ Gura collab with Coco at some point, I hope that can still happen before July 1st

It would be nice for her to keep helping out but I kinda doubt it.

And out from nowhere appear on a stream in official Hololive channel with Coco avatar but in office lady attire.

So either Kanata is really good at holding it together or she isn't nearly as distraught due to having information we don't. Hopefully it's the latter as she didn't seem like she had been crying or anything along those lines, though that may just be due to her having known for a while.

Also, just to throw it in there, her stream peaked right at about 78,000 viewers.

I have doubts that this was Coco's sole decision; as in the graduation being independent of Cover's internal actions; she even said that she still has "unfulfilled dreams that will probably stay that way."
Didn't sound like she was ready to leave.

The only rrat I don't give credence to is that this happened on completely amicable terms. Coco's demeanor in the announcement video makes it seem like she's a little upset so there's something else going on here other than her just deciding to quit of her own volition.

Which is probably why Cover is in full damage control mode right now.

No, you gotta look at the other side too. It is insanely possible she's leaving to try and protect them, altho I think it foolish.
