He's playing a game by tweeting on his private account to the stans. He KNOWS the stans will screenshot it and post it publicly anyway. So this way, he can pretend he isn't posting this as a PR move, while also displaying him as a "good and moral person" privately.

Now that I think about it, that's a very real possibility. I've heard rumors that Coleton was a Trump supporter, so I wouldn't be shocked if Clayton holds surface-level conservative views that he doesn't let show out of fear of the nonbinary 14 year olds getting him cancelled.
