Honestly, it makes sense. Domino is the polar opposite of a "feminist figure". She has real agency and makes her own choices. She works for a living, and earns her keep. She deals with her problems herself and doesn't go whining to anyone else for help. She's comfortable with her sexuality, good at her job, and understands that the world owes her nothing, so she has to take success on her own. She demands no help, no handouts, and no pity.
How could someone like Wu hope to identify with any of that?
