1. “I really wasn’t expecting a tip like this, I thought this was gonna be a slow stream” More credence to the fact that Phil pre-plans (or is at least told about) large donations coming in for the stream, so @Surly Muppet was right on the money that OIC wasn’t planning on tipping tonight (and that he normally signals huge tips)
2. Someone told Phil that An1337 is the name of a troll. Phil reassured him that “it could just be someone using his name, trying to stick it to him”. Notice how he carefully avoids the use of the word “impersonate” here, which is what he normally uses to incriminate people and accusing them of being criminals.
Yeah, they can gay ops it all they want, but Phil is too much of a retard to maintain any facade.
He gets a large tip from An1337 last night and doesn't even verify it. Then tonight, it's the same name and he decides to verify it.
Well that can only mean one of two things. Someone schedules their tips in advance so Phil knows they are coming and blindly trusts them.
Or whoever AndreTheDJ is told Phil they were going to tip in their first tip last night, so Phil didn't question when the later tip came in.
Either way, having to verify it tonight means he knew he was getting money last night, be it before the stream or early in the stream.
It doesn't even matter if it's OiC or not. That's a scam.
EDIT: Case and point, Phil is getting called out on this and playing dumb. He is saying he didn't realize An1337 was a troll name. He also plays dumb about Agent Proper being a troll when someone pointed out he also took a tip from that name last night.
That's not their point, though.
The point is that he didn't verify it last night, but did tonight.
So that's the ticket right there. Phil is doing his usual move when cornered and playing semantics, swerving the issue that exposes him and focusing on the pointless details.
It's not about the troll names. It's about the obvious scam that you just exposed, buddy.
