It only makes a difference to Phil, who was paid to play this game by his viewers thanks to hitting a sub goal a year ago that he wasted the money from in a day to get a sweatymanjpg in his phone collection of them. Now as to your theory that there's kickbacks from restreamers for playing some autism buck breaking cyberfantasy or whatever to satisfy the financial dominance fetishes of the goutosphere participants, I could see it but that's not what I think this particular shit is.

Nobody is making money on the forum, or has the potential to make money from their forum posts, or is drawing attention to themselves by discussing someone with more notoriety than themselves with the opportunity to turn that attention into their own notoriety generally speaking. If they were or it were possible then yeah it'd be clout chasing. Just is what it is.

I'm not mad about it, clout chasing isn't inherently bad and it's retarded that people make justifications for what is and isn't clout chasing because of it. Make money off clout chasing DSP, have at it, just make good content with it if you're gonna do it.
True, though it's not the same thing if we're merely acknowledging that certain channels are going to move on to other things when Phil dies because their interest is in trends, not necessarily DSP himself. Others won't, because they only exist because Phil does, and even after he's gone, they'll be recycling his back catalog. Both are detracting, they just have different reasons, and thus there's an expiration date for the former. It's all welcome, even when it's retarded.
