To me the most interesting take-away from this debacle is that at least 20% of Coco subscribers know about her roommate. Previously we had no idea whether it was 90%, 10% or even a tiny vocal minority like 1%. The number is obviously different for other talents, but this is a pretty good baseline.

In the last few days (bar the first where it felt like she had just died) you couldn't literally search for anything coco related without getting that info, no wonder the crazy ass surge in subs happened

It was always pretty easy to get the info tbh. A long while ago, I remember that it was both in video comments and in the hololive wiki,

I didn't really look into it before to be honest, it's not a borderline not even hidden thing like a certain shark's yeehaw's but it's not like the 10 or so different random japanese women that supposedly are Korone thanks to people spreading shit nobody cares about

It'll be on YT somewhere, but it's buried in everyone trying to cash in on the secret everybody already knows. Trying to wade through YT clips of people trying to clickbait Kson is a bit too annoying. Sorry mate.

The million question is whether those rumor “yakuza” will continue to give SC to her roommate in the future. If we see the same amount as current Coco then damn, that’s spicy AF

Well, it's not like being a dragon made Coco successful to begin with, it's always been about who's playing the character. She's listed as being creative and hardworking, certainly has what it takes to be successful in entertainment, and is almost at 450k by now. That plus making twice as much from superchats makes success more viable on the long run

She doesn't even have monetization on YT until very recently. I don't know any site that keep stat of donation on Mildom, and I don't know how Niconico work. Still, most of the regular spender on Kson YT definitely overlap with Coco's.
