There might not be a controversy but it does illustrate their mindset. They complain frequently about ginger replacement, but this time it's ok because Cartoon Network did it a decade ago. Are characters supposed to remain true to the original vision or is it ok because canon was already broken? The message of the video is the media s trying to create controversy out of nothing, but it also showed Clownfish either only care when ginger characters are swapped or when being mad about a race swap will get them views.View attachment 2251855Hey look! It's an Asian actress that played Velma in the Cartoon Network live action movies in the thumbnail of their video. It's almost as if these chuds get mad at stuff that's already existed previously in different adapations
Edit: Seems like they want to stir up drama even though there isn't much happening. Gotta milk this content!View attachment 2251906
Like what people said before, there is a part of me that doesn't want to defend the lazy corporation, clearly race bending a pre-established character because WanerMedia can't afford a original concept, and this is second time that Velma has been "POC" washed in a animated adoption (SCOOB! where she was latinx)
Clownfish either only care when ginger characters are swapped or when being mad about a race swap will get them views
I agree with most kiwis
The pair of them are annoying consumers/ outrage grifters and completely lacking in self awareness. However their about as boring as the nerdcuck guy the makes an insane number of outrage videos that are INANE background noise
It's not that they are not funny. I find the users picking apart their BS quite entertaining and a lot better than watching Clownfish's actual videos. They're just not amusing enough to be listed in prospering grounds. They have limited self awareness which keeps them from going full retard. Too milquetoast, ya know?
Extremely blown out of proportion. It's really just Netflix She-Ra fans using the opportunity to try and drum up interest for a follow-up movie in the algorithm - you know, that thing all fandoms do when they want to get more content made. But of course, Kneon and Geeky paint is as toxic salt because the last thing they want is more Netflix She-Ra.Uh oh another She-ra video where they cherry pick the worst responsesView attachment 2251426
This video has a lot of inaccuracies in general. While they weren’t in the majority, there WERE people complaining that the new She-are wasn’t “attractive enough”, Quartering being one of them.Uh oh another She-ra video where they cherry pick the worst responsesView attachment 2251426
Wouldn't be a surprise thonk how many Youtubers that turn out to cowsIt's not that they are not funny. I find the users picking apart their BS quite entertaining and a lot better than watching Clownfish's actual videos.
I just think that they are stuck in a limbo of being not outrageous enough outside of their blatant clickbait and consoomer spreging and not popular enough to be in Internet Famous either.
Perphaps we should dig deeper and see if they have any skeletons laying around.
I always thought them complaining about gingers was some kind of running meta joke about race changing. There might not be a controversy but it does illustrate their mindset. They complain frequently about ginger replacement, but this time it's ok because Cartoon Network did it a decade ago. Geeky cares when gingers are replaced because she's one. She says it's not about race because she is classy, it's about gingers being an even bigger minority and they are being erased. In the Little Mermaid one they talk about how redheads were seen as goddesses in some cultures so that is the connotation of redhead characters, particularly the Little Mermaid. Maybe it is a meta joke, but if it is, they did a lot of research for it when they don't for most of their videos.I always thought them complaining about gingers was some kind of running meta joke about race changing.
That "parent" in the original Japanese version and fansubs was never a "trans woman" but a cross-dressing bisexual male.Sorry for the double post but "anime is not political" my arse. I remember Ouran High School Host Club and that was absolutely queer as hell, in fact one of the characters had a parent that became a trans woman so that the daughter could continue to have a motherly influence in her life.
Also this was allowed to air on the kids channel in Australia
Haven't watched the series in like 10 years, I could have been wrong. But still something like that existing contradicts Clownfish TV's "anime isn't political" BSThat "parent" in the original Japanese version and fansubs was never a "trans woman" but a cross-dressing bisexual male.
Queers existing in media isn’t political. Queers existing in media because the faggot creators want to virtue signal is.Haven't watched the series in like 10 years, I could have been wrong. But still something like that existing contradicts Clownfish TV's "anime isn't political" BS
"Anime isn't political" statement had been wrong long before the "God of Manga" himself started drawing mangas.Haven't watched the series in like 10 years, I could have been wrong. But still something like that existing contradicts Clownfish TV's "anime isn't political" BS
