"The proletariat" doesn't speak bougie academish. This is the iq curve meme.
Grug brain: "They hate me I hate them."
Room temperature midwit Breadtubers: "Well ackshually we should hate ourselves too! We deserve it!"
High IQ: "The specific political distinction to which political actions and motives can be reduced is that between friend and enemy."

I have yet to see a breadtuber like Vaush give a definition on what Fascism or Whiteness is, all I've ever seen is uhhh it's a uhh like system of oppression uhh that is also capitalistic and hates non-whites uhhh and is also sexist uhh.
They reference Umberto Ecco's Ur Fascism when pressed because Ecco's definition of fascism tries really hard to exclude socialism and communism. I've been told he was a communist but I never confirmed it. Mussolini's Doctrine of Fascism is a more faithful explanation that can be interpreted as including communism and luxury socialism.
Ash Sarkar pretended to not know what woke meant and use the same tactic as Vaush to demean her opposition. People found a clip of her explaining in detail what woke means just a few years prior on her podcast.

The perpetual use of Ur Fascism to define Fascism is really dumb. Would you go to an anti-communist to define communism, or would you just read the Communist Manifesto?

I don't know about Communism but he was definitely anti-traditional and against Western culture. He was obsessed with deconstructing Western culture and traditional beliefs.

He was also an atheist who co-founded CICAP (a big part of the Italian "skeptic" movement) and seemed to have animosity against religious sentiments and the Catholic Church particularly. You can see his come out a bit in his novel The Name of the Rose where the villain is a monk who's trying to keep people from finding lost knowledge that would improve human life, or whatever, along with critiques of celibacy and other things.

As for this, it's supremely stupid for other reasons: namely, in Ur-Fascism and other writings Eco uses his own alleged experiences with Fascism to inform his critique, except he was born in 1932. When Fascism in Italy started crumbling he was no older than 10 years old. Most of what he discusses took place when he was between the ages of 6 and 9, and he could not have understood half of the concepts he brought up if he even experienced them (which is unlikely, because his family lived in a remote village during WWII). To accept any of his experiences as legitimately informative about society, at that age and with that upbringing, is farcical.

I wouldn't completely trust either one. Fascists/communists will also lie to make fascism/communism look better. And unfortunately it's basically impossible to get someone who is truly neutral on these particular subjects because they're so divisive that really the only people without a strong opinion are the most uninformed.

Even though he is white himself

you get a pretty good idea about things by both familiarizing yourself with what the major figureheads of the ideology wrote about it, and comparing that with what they actually did after they took power

I tried watching that get together and it was confusing to say the least. It seems there is a grab bag of definitions everything from Lee Kuan Yew's benevolent dictatorship in Singapore to anyone trying to ignite any type of action that seeks to undermine democratic norms.
