I knew it, it's wonky. 🤣

There is this homesteader(?) I follow on YT and they recently (last year, but uploaded recently) installed a fence and a gate. Obviously different ground, but the principles are the same I think.

fence as done by two people:

gate:

Look at the size of the posts for just the one gate.

Bonus of her talking about choosing land to buy, taking things into account like how much property tax she would pay as she got older. (She dismissed Colorado, because it's not free enough for her taste, around 6:40.)

It's like a reverse Tenacious Unicorn Ranch (guys, we have to use the full name if we want to force this page to the top of the Google results). The have good fences, they have a real woman, and it's greener inside the fence than outside.

I have no idea how they fucked it up that badly. Supposedly alpacas are actually good about not ripping up grass by the roots, but they've utterly destroyed it. There are definitely way too many of them, though. At the very least, they've overgrazed everything to death. Sheep also don't generally rip up grass.

Whatever they've done to get that lunar landscape, if it isn't just overgrazing, is probably so absolutely fucking dumb you wouldn't even think of someone actually doing it.
Wait aren't sheep infamous for stripping pastures of grass barren? I thought that's why real ranchers and Cowboys (UK the ones who actually knew how to raise livestock and live off the land) had a grudge against farmers who raised sheep?

Well lets see, shall we?
Two obvious troons/furries try to explain why it doesn't look like the neighbouring land;

Philip finally gets mouthy with an alleged local (and more troons troonsplain why they really couldn't call the police (when we know the likeliest reason is there WAS nothing to report))

I thought it was about land and water, and the fact that homesteaders would claim land and then fence it in. They were fighting over what land should be open. So the ranchers were seizing land that was previously available to the cattlemen as well as the water, with both sides blaming each other for the results when both of them combined were overgrazing.

You sure you're still not just talking about the tranch?

So when approached with the question "why is the tranch more barren than the land immediately outside it," the responses are as follows.

"Because straight people did it."

1623458804895.png

"Because the alpacas did it."

And lastly, "I can assert a state-wide conspiracy without evidence but your Occam's Razor approach requires factual and concrete proof."

Talk about absolute fucking bullshit from subhuman troons who can't maintain even the most basic human practices. These troons should kill themselves. What utter garbage, what pathetic excuses for their absolute failure.

Penny was quick to reply to the person who claimed to live in the area, but never addressed that the police gave them the clean bill of health for their horribly treated alpacas and somehow also want them dead.

Its almost as if their narrative doesn't make sense. Or, the more likely scenario is of course that the Sheriff joined the militia in a rage after seeing the amazing tranch and realizing he could never live up to such a standard.

Ah yes, the classic "law enforcement is conveniently part of the conspiracy so we can't go to them which is why we have no proof." I wouldn't have expected anything less from the denizens of the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch.
In the days of social media, producing proof and showing it to the world has never been easier. If they have proof (they don't), they should publish it all over Twitter. Especially if the sheriff is part of this imaginary militia in this heavily blue state.

Isn't the reason why they're farming alpacas is because they get subsidies for it? As a degenerate urbanite curious about homesteading I actually looked up how to take care of an alpaca, and apparently they're a bitch to take care of if you don't live in a climate like the one they evolved in (Andean highlands)

There may be govt gibs in alpacas but it's been mentioned before in the thread that they're so incredibly unprofitable and labor intensive (when cared for properly lmao) they're hardly worth the free money. Their wool isn't worth the cost and nobody in the States eats their meat or uses their milk. They're meme livestock at best and the only people who raise them are ones who didn't realize it.

A quick Google search shows that there is no subsidies but you can write off the purchases of alpaca on your taxes therefore getting a bigger return. Thus, the gibbs are minimal at best since it's a one time deal.

But the gibs of troonery? Absolutely limitless.

I think it's a bit of both. Sheep do graze a lot closer to the ground than cattle, but they're lighter and don't trample the ground as much as cattle.

Ultimately the troons have too many animals on too few acres and they're not engaging in sustainable agricultural practices, like rotational grazing and planting cover crops. None of this is difficult to learn; they get what they deserve.
