There's overlap in multiple fanbases too, and using Anthony Padilla as a justification for their overlap also puts them in the same category as anime voice actors, CIA agents and people with terminal illness. (altho granted, their fanbase causes terminal illness to the brain.)

Apparently it's like a safe word or something like that? Like a quick word to be used when you're streaming, since Tommyinnit is a minor, it's kind of a clever idea to get someone you trust in the call quickly.

There was a clip of it on YouTube, but it got taken down for some reason. But basically the gist of what happened is that after Dream made the comment about the "legal age" WilburSoot joined the call and started asking Tommyinnit what was wrong which, if I remember correctly, made Tommy try and not bring attention to the situation. Wilbur went off on Ninja and Dream and then left to continue watching the stream. That's a very rough summary based on my memory, I don't know why they took down the video, but I know it was up at some point.

For more context, this was Tommy's first time meeting Ninja and hanging out with him on Minecraft and Ninja was making a bunch of sexual jokes which made Tommy uneasy because, ya know, first time meeting. When Dream made the comment is apparently what crossed the line and he reached out to Wilbur because of it, probably because it didn't seem like a joke.

That's super fucked that they were joking about that and having a word is pretty smart. I wonder how people figured out there was a safe word at all and what it was? Wild that Ninja met a kid for the first time and immediately start making sexual jokes about them- surprised I haven't seen more people talk about that. And for Dream to make another shitty joke instead of defending his friend (if they are friends, I know fuck all about mcyt besides Dream=fat and the stans are insane) is also fucked. How is that not a bigger scandal than speedrun cheating?

You can tell they were so in denial about the whole thing that they didn't even research how the leak happened. I mean, not only are Dream's father and his brother's coach on the picture but the image itself was posted on one of the Huff's Facebook pages if I'm not wrong. Dream's real name and localization was confirmed a long time ago.

I wonder if the guy is going to stick to his comedy bit or flat out admit he's not the man on the picture. But with the clout he's currently receiving, why would he? He might have accidentally (unless there's a conspiracy involved, but I doubt it) saved Dream's pride.

It’s funny because there was no hesitation when saying that, so that means Dream knows the UK age of consent off the top of his head, and he has a lot of UK viewers-

My theory on why he gained such a horde of teenage girl fans and why his fans are like that is because lots of those kids grew up with Tumblr and Twitter where people having a regular hetero crush is looked down and everyone has some dumb made up sexuality and gender.
