Funny how he had no problems hopping on VF, a series which is known as the most complex 3D fighting game series as well as one of the most complex fighting games in general. But here's the rub, VF is free on PS+ so there's no cost in playing it for a few days and then abandoning it if you don't like it, making it guaranteed that he'd go up against mostly drooling 62 IQ noobs who can't even block low. GG Strive on the other hand is a paid game, so he'll have to face a self-selected group of fans of the series, meaning that he won't be able to stroke his ego by dunking on scrubs, he'd actually have to go up against people who care about learning the game.
What is he trying to accomplish? Is he just high off his own farts or is he trying to bait detractors into talking shit to him about it so he can use it on his Two Minutes of Hate on the next stream in order to goad his paypigs into giving him money to "own da trollz"?

You know what pisses me off lately? For someone who LOVES to say no and even has a running "joke", has a lot of excuses when it comes to gaming.
-Its too complex for me and I dont want to play Divinity anymore.
-I guess its okay, but its just not for me so im not saying im quitting it, im gonna send it to a significant hiatus. I might come back in a few months when there are no new games coming out...
-I dont want to play ME2, I just played it last year.
-Well its the worst of the 3. You can totally skip the story and dont lose anything...
-I dont like The Returnal, I dont want to play it anymore.
-The genre doesnt fit into a 70dollars AAA game. This should be a cheap indie game with a few hours of gameplay. Also it doesnt fit into my "gaming schedule", its for people who play it non stop.
-I dont want to play Guilty Gear, VF5 is free so I play it.

DSP is kind of like "The Picture of Dorian Gray" but Dorian (DSP) ages twice as fast as a normal man for every sin and the portrait (shitty YouTube "career") never ages but is garbage motel art that always looks kind of the same, yet also possibly worse in an indefinable way.

It still boggles me, his statement on Mass Effect 2. The game is regarded as one of the best sci fi rpgs of all time, it is a weird culmination of the issues of KOTOR and Mass Effect 1 and perfectly packaged. Its gameplay loop is great and the story is fantastic, yet its the worst?

This summer is pretty quiet due to COVID delaying games and the prior generation wrapping up. I do wonder what he will play as he hates the drought because he equates to new games = more money.
This saga has been brilliant as his Youtube is a shambling corpse and he is being propped by 2 whales. His fanbase is very quiet though, I expect the summer will be great.

You don't need to lab for hours different matchups, combos and "opportunities" (whatever the fuck he means) at the level he's gonna play.
No, Phil, you don't need to lab Millia loops against Zato and Sol depending on their recovery because you're a scrub and matches at that level are decided on who can antiair better and who can actually block instead of mashing like a gorilla. You know, where being able to reliably land a decent combo (even if it's not optimal) is far better than trying to go for the optimal stuff because you'll fuck up.
You know, like your 3S Ken gameplay I saw today, where your whole gameplan was jumping around into cr.MP -> cr.MK -> EX Hadou and random overheads hoping the guy runs into them.
