I actually feel like Ethan is a pretty good caricature of the millennial. Take all the stereotypical traits of the average millennial; depression, nihilism, materialism, smugness, godlessness, sloth, entitlement, gluttony, left-wing politics, and just exaggerate them a bit, and you've got Ethan. He makes for a pretty good example to illustrate why people both younger and older than millennials fucking hate them.

That entire segment where Ethan tries to goof on Crowder, fumbles the delivery, and has to wait for his wife to mumble a half-baked punchline is just plain grating. This mean girls schtick that washed up internet celebrities use when they throw around their e-clout makes them utterly unwatchable. I have to wonder what kind of mind it takes to think calling your detractors virgins is an effective or witty put-down past high school.

And special mention to Hila Klein. She is horrendously bad as a co-host and you really start to see why Ethan tried working with someone different. Back when he and Hila had the humble content creator disposition their awkwardness made them endearing. Now they demand the world take them seriously when they can barely string together a coherent sentence between the two of them.

It usually an effective strategy for Ethan cause he only argues with teenage boys whos balls havent dropped yet but when faced with a grown man it fails spectacularly.

Not to suck Crowders dick or anything but it seems hes living a much better life then Ethan in every way.

Not just that, Crowder is Crowder, and he refuses to change who he is no matter what. Ethan on the other hand single handedly followed the saying of "you ether die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villan". We can all guess what Ethan became, whether that was due to Susan's involvement or not is anyone's guess.

Edit, cause I wanted to add this on: The best example I have in mind regarding Crowder not changing is when he was working with Lifetime (TV network), and they tried to have him do oral sex for a movie scene, he refused on the grounds it conflicts with his morals, and he had a minor breakdown over it cause it was going to set his acting career back. But, in the end, he stood for his values and refused to do it, even if it meant he would likely never act again for Hollywood, he didn't care because he wasn't going to do something so egregious. Meanwhile, Ethan, upon sucking up to Susan and becoming buddy buddys with her, became a complete and utter twat, eager to quash any criticism against him, ripping off Howard Stern who, in this day and age, who the fuck is listening to Howard other then his diehard loyalists?

He was already an asshole before that though. The moment he became an unbearable douchebag in my eyes was when he made that video sperging about Jake Paul doxxing his "bff" Post Malone and went like a three month stretch with only Paul brothers content
