Not that it matters, but Jazz's circumstances are kinda similar to what some intersex people go through, where they are biologically in between genders but they feel more comfortable identifying as male/female. Actually, sinc Jazz was on puberty blockers for most of her life and never went through proper male puberty, she should probably be considered intersex at this point.

There is no such thing as biologically in between genders, there are two sexes and that's it. You can be born either male or female, no nothing nor in-between. Intersex people are also either male or female, even if they look otherwise. Sex is truly binary.

Small correction here intersex people CAN be born with pseudotestes or pseudoovaries that produce hormones. I'd check out some earlier literature (pre 2000s) before this all became political theres some intersting things about the ethics of choosing sex in true hermaphodites.

Disorders of sex chromosome are pretty insane. But intersex in a truly medical sense does exist just not how its portrayed by the type of people wanting to push the agenda of trans onto children.

I'm gonna throw one more thing in on this comment. I'd say about like in the mid 2000s, so about 15 years ago, some sapphixy-tier troon at the company I used to work for sent this weird ass email to the company saying he was living as a woman. He literally just put on a dress and looked like the same fatass just with awful makeup and a dress until he left about 6 months later. Not sure why, but troonery tends to have that effect. I remember laughing my ass off with basically all of my coworkers when speaking about the email and lunacy of the entire situation

Anyways, point is, it's stunning to me how (essentially artificial) social pressure has changed that environment. My question was about the change in used pronouns, it had nothing to do with "free speech ethos of the Farms" or my opinion on preferred or neo-pronouns. I am not calling for the use of certain pronouns either. It's just odd that recently (pertaining Jazz) the female pronouns are being used quite regularly, whereas it almost always used to be male pronouns. After all, the "free speech ethos of the Farms" was in place when this thread was created. I wondered what brought about this change, that's all.

I agree referring to a single, known person as 'them' is fucking stupid. The English language neuter word is 'it', which people quite naturally use when describing an animal of unknown sex or a pregnant woman's fetus. 'Them' is the plural of it/he/she. For some reason, they get annoyed when this is pointed out and go on about some instance when Shakespeare used it etc.
Mammals have two sexes that relate to how they reproduce. An intersex person is someone whose sexual characteristics are ambiguous. Intersex people often can't reproduce, but those who can retain enough functionality to be able to do so in the same way a person of one sex or the other can. Most intersex people experience puberty and if left alone will grow up to have sexual feelings and can have sex in some way or form. Intersex people aren't 'between genders' because 'gender' in biological terms is a nonsense concept. Even the trans lobby talks about gender as being about 'clothing and behavior' or 'a feeling someone has'. This is a spiritual/religious concept, not a scientific one.
Jazz is a eunuch who has never gone through puberty. He is a Peter Pan sexless creature formed by the perverse curiosities of the medical profession. A far cry from an intersex person who has retained the intact body he or she was born with.
Gender ideology harms intersex people by insisting on regressive rigid 'gender roles' and allowing parents to consent to cosmetic surgery for underage intersex bodies to make them conform to this. I think the general rule is to just use whatever you think fits best. There's a spectrum among Kiwis from "trans isn't real" to "only use stated pronouns" (I personally do think there's True and Honest Trans and generally he/him the ones who are clearly fetishists, but that's just me). "Why are you calling that dude she" is just as annoying as "respect everyone's pronouns".

No one in this thread is arguing that Jazz isn’t male. Everyone recognizes the fact that Jazz was born with a penis and XY chromosomes. Even people who use female pronouns here don’t deny that fact.
