I've noticed a pattern. Rate me autistic, but I don't think Wedge is really "trans". Here is my reasoning.

We all know that Wedge grew up in a crazy religious community, clearly he still carries a lot of trauma from his upbringing/religious beliefs. A lot of people in these communities carry a lot of trauma later on in life due to the things they were raised to believe (marriage is meant for a man and a woman, children born out of wedlock are bastards, Jesus hates gay people, etc etc etc). I think his "transness" is a thing simply as a way of rebelling against his upbringing.

I just found out about this today, and I'm glad he decided to not apologize for believing as he does. Even if I don't care for FNAF, I can appreciate a man willing to abide by his principles. The lack of compassion from people like Kevin just makes this situation better, in a way. As it helps to show how utterly selfish and inconsiderate they are. Which is odd, as you'd think supposedly marginalized people would have even a little sympathy for those who endure something similar to what they've gone through. But I guess compassion is conditional for them.
