I've always thought of the internet as being as not only an amalgamation of people's thoughts, but minds as well.

You ever been to a store and think to yourself "damn, that person looks really skinny/fat" or "fuck, that person looks extremely unkempt". You'd definitely never say that to the person or out loud not only because of restraint/moral reasons, but because it's just a thought. Something that comes to mind while you're functioning in REALITY, with real people face to face.

Take most of the people hurling slurs each other on this site in a room in real life to discuss the topics on this site (preferably inebriated), and I think some sort of middle ground or at the least understanding would be reached (minus the people whose fantasy/reality has been distorted by long term internet use.) I was a frequenter on the MATI discord's voicechat, and I saw this a lot, even along the Hyperborean nazi larper weirdos, and the mixed race incel weirdos who would whine about them.
