you can see it in europe, in many places where prostitution is legal a significant portion of johns in brothels are sex tourists from neighboring countries where it's not legal. its a big thing in some cities in western germany near the french border - germany has fully legal brothels while france has outlawed them, so brothels in germany get a ton of johns from france

my point is that legalizing brothels in vegas wouldnt increase the number of local las vegas dudes going to brothels, but it would increase the number of sex tourists from neighboring counties and states.

I live close to a city famously known for legal prostitution, and the attitude of most locals and expats who have been around long enough ranges from "eh" to "been there, done that". In fact, there's some push amongst locals to relocate the prozzies away from the city centre because of tourist overcrowding, the incumbent mayor was partly elected on that platform.

So I don't see Pipsqueak's PAC garnering any sort of substantial support from regular Vegas residents, no matter what paper-thin veneer of concern for women safety and empowerment rhetoric he tries to disguise it with.
