To make that worse, iirc that rant happened before Mano Aloe even debuted, so that's one less Holo she could have talked to.

Personally I can't stand how crass Vshojo are. I've given them a few chances, but pretty-much every clip I see has them swearing up a storm or making some awkward references to dicks or other parts of the anatomy you'd better be washing at least three times a week. I think people dislike them because they're pretty clearly just average white girls[TM] who decided to grab an avatar as an excuse to stop putting on makeup and photoshop filters every stream. It feels like they're just piggybacking off a trend rather than actually getting into it as anything but an entirely cynical way to make money.

Here's a criticism of Vshojo. I saw Snuffy clips and had to be reminded she wasn't a Vshojo member. Enough said really.

Edit: I agree a lot of the criticisms sounds like people being total prude, but there's an undeniable truth to it. They're crass as a selling point, but the death of professionalism is a comedic gag, not a selling point. The Hololive talent aren't angels, much like women aren't angels, but when we see for example Watame being a creepy old man (dubbed Wata-oji by her fan group) it's kinda rare and is a nice character break, as opposed to just her character. And there's more examples of these charming character breaks.

I am also of the same opinion. If I want to see some people being crass, vulgars, or juat plain rude, I just need to open Facebook and watch people flinging shits about. They have no appeal besides for the kids who are too horny and always laugh at "le peepoopoo" word, and no professionalism or at least a desire to improve. As strict and retarded the corpos like Holo or Ichikara are, at the very least they made sure their talents to uphold some sort of standard or something.

I think what you mean is gap moe. We like the occasional prim and proper girl become a degenerate pervert once in a while. But to make it you entire personality is nothing but off-putting to almost everyone

Sort of true. Don't get me wrong, I like a good slut so long as it is honest sluttery. Snuffy, for example, is quite amusing and I buy her as a genuine cock carousel connoisseur (would be shocked if she weren't in or approaching her thirties based off her confidence in presenting herself compared to other girls).

For Vei and the younger ones, I find the "UWU look what a slutty girl I am =>.<=" act to be pretty grating. It is obvious false confidence of a shower-once-a-week fujoshi who can mask herself behind a cute avatar and play pretend.

Some people probably bought dislikes on a site like socialwick, I've had my suspicions since Aqua's recent return stream that had a metric ton of dislikes (even in proportion to antis). I can imagine both Kiara/Nyanners and Aqua having mongoloids with a large enough hate boner to actually spend money on stuff to distress them.

@Forever Sunrise pretty much mirrored my reasons for my distaste of VShojo. I don't find excessive toilet humor particularly funny, and when basically your entire personality and selling point is "I'm a cute anime avatar saying fuck dick" I have zero interest in you. The fact that a lot of them are typical cunty western women, or troons, doesn't help my opinion. They are absolutely only doing VTubing because they saw it as easy money and a hype train to hitch a ride on.

Many, if not all, of the Hololive girls will likely stick with it when this initial hype wave finally comes to rest, especially since most were doing it before it exploded in popularity. I imagine most of the VShojo girls will likely jump ship as soon as they see numbers dip and they have another trend to leech onto for easy cash.
