This post is an absolute gift to any future social historian trying to understand the trans trend. Nothing can possibly be his fault, because trans people never do anything wrong ever.

He got pulled over because he is trans, because apparently the police could tell that from a distance. He had cooking equipment because he liked to cook for his friends, who apparently don’t have utensils of their own and rely on their homeless pal to bring his own. He has a history of drug use, but ignore that. Seriously, I’ve heard 7-year-olds put up a better defence.

I didn't see a police report anywhere in a quick search for the latest arrest and the 4/20 is old enough it isn't on the daily blotter anymore and you have to do a records request. I'll look into what that entails.

That fund raiser is from June 2017. Already thought I had a déjà vu.

So the police arrested him for riding around being trans and with a cooking set, but without a trace of the usual ingredients for meth? Why do I have that nagging impression something's left out of this story...

It's definitely a short one given that the part blacked out is a bit longer than "ounty" and the censored part would have the space and the "C". It would have to be a 4 or maybe 5 letter one. Rhea, Knox, Polk, Dyer, Lake, Clay. They're mostly on the western and eastern edges of the state, with Clay in the middle. It would depend on where he was driving to

It's to finance the entire defense. Dave is facing felony drug charges that we do not know the severity of. It will vary based on the substance. That can cost tens of thousands to defend if it goes to trial.
